This guy is ridiculous in ramp druid! Usually around 15-15 stats for 10 mana, and playing him with Naga Sea Witch makes it even better.

I believe there's a certain 6 cost minion ancient harbinger that makes yshaarj a little more playable.  4/6 for 6 - "at the start of your turn, put a 10-cost minion from your deck in your hand. There's got to be something there maybe involving alarm-o-bot. Actually yeah sounds dumb and unplayable.  Tryin to convince myself  -  I promised myself not to disenchant anything!

from what i've tried of this guy, he honestly feels like the weakest of the old gods.  He can be easily removed by some classes and in druid if he summons a card that has a choose battle cry you dont get the choose.

My new secret weapon in ramp c'thun druid. This and Yogg make the deck incredibly strong.

Y'Saarj brings out Deathwing then Deathwing, Dragonlord and finally Illidan Stormrage.

It's team anger management.

Got this guy from the first old gods pack I opened.

Not enough of an impact to see much constructed play, but it is GODLY in Arena. 

was playing earlier and my opponent played this. Looked at his description and  had to take it out with my face, costing me the game.

In constructed, it looks like a bad varian wrynn, I'm skeptical.

Had so much potential. Corrupting hero, Sha, Heart of Y'Shaarj death rattle... but no.

To play this guy avoid drafting minions with battery like Reno Jackson or Justicar Trueheart, instead put effects giving Ragnaros the Firelord, Sylvanas Windrunner, or Chromaggus in your deck.

With a lot of imagination you can see it as "your side of the board get's buffed over time".
