Will this give Faceless Shambler a divine shield before its battlecry is activated?
I don't think it would. If my understanding is correct, battlecries trigger before a minion enters the field. So faceless shambler would get buffed before being summoned, so it would have more than 1 health and not get the divine shield.
EDIT: It would appear I'm wrong, since Blizz recently answered a similar question about twilight drake saying that it would get the buff. In that case I'd assume that faceless shambler would also get the buff
They confirmed that Twilight Drake will get divine shield, so I would imagine Faceless Shambler will get divine shield as well.
oh no - OH NO!
Time to rebuild my dragon pally deck.
Should work with hero power. Excellent. Murloc Knight value?
A few new cards it *should* work for. Tentacle of N'Zoth, Faceless Shambler (depending on order), Stand Against Darkness
When it gots killed, than Redemption is activated it is summoned with one health. Will [card]Steward of Darkshire[card] shield herself?
The barber is the "one who shaves all those, and those only, who do not shave themselves." The question is, does the barber shave himself?
I'm not sure if it count as a "1 health minion" or not. really, it's a 3-health minion with 2 damage counters on it. It depends on how they check that sort of thing. However, the summon might happen BEFORE the card's effects come into play, so it might not shield itself.
hearthstone does not work with life and damage(mtg), it has current health and max health, and im pretty sure a 1 health minion means 1 max health.
I feel icky
I feel icky and probably nerfed :(
Silent buff to Earth Shock
I like the reference to Darkshire, Duskwood (where the town is located) is one of the coolest low level Alliance places in WoW. It feels like the Steward could be standing right in front of the Inn or entrance to the Town Hall.
I was under the impression that she was a blood elf. We can't see ears at all, but those glowing eyes? Maybe you're right though. Makes more sense.
Summon?!
You said Summon?
OMG I love it! (I'll probably hate when getting my butt kicked by it) But I love it!
someone said divine shield?
Blood Knight
Did someone say Stand against Darkness?? VALUE. (With Blood Knight or Sword of Justice)
Thought of the same. I'm using one copy of Blood Knight nowadays as a tech to counter those ubiquitous paladins (its imo even better - more consistent - than Mind Control Tech) - its fantastic and I like playing it, so I'm looking forward to try some kind of Blood Knight deck. Steward of Darkshire could finally give such concept a push. One of my favourite WotOG cards for now.
@Up Stand Against Darkness is a spell, so unfortunatelly there's no any special value there : P Wouldn't work.
BTW too bad Hobgoblin is gone... Having two such cards could make the difference, especially 1:1's would be funny to play in such a deck :P
Stand Against Darkness is a spell, so what? It says summon, and this card works on summons, it totally works. One is meant to complement the other, by design.
love the profile pic. shpongle ftw. The card says "summon" btw so stand against darkness will work
