This card makes me feel physical pain. And we all though Poisoned Blade was crappy....
No, not bad.... Its terrible.
Battlecry: lose.
you can equip the weapon and then golden monkey. which means you will always have a weapon.
Somebody remembers the last time they introduced a playable weapon? Must have been the shaman mech weapon (power maze?). Seems like they dont want weapons to be a Thing.
Either way, the last good weapons were in GvG.
Definitely a Control Warrior card if anything. And my following opinion is based purely through a Control Warrior Deck perspective.
Is it any good? I actually think so.
And here is why:
Generally when you're playing a Control Warrior you have a lot of dead turns(armor up and end turn). Those type of turn go well beyond turn 5 the majority of games as Control Warrior, as everyone should already know who's played it(i.e How many times have you Armored up and end turn at turn 8 and higher as Control Warrior? Almost every game right?). I'm just reminding people. Post-game, playing a standard Control Warrior Deck, there is A LOT of unspent mana usually/mostly throughout the game if you would go back and count them.
This card would be a good filler for those turns in theory, since the mana cost doesn't matter at all, it's important that people understands that (the very reason Control Warrior can and has almost 50%~ expensive Legendary cards, no other class could get away with playing with such high quantity "today", with good survivabilty and control cards high mana cost doesn't matter).
Interesting thought on this card. I guess we'll have to see how it plays out.
Yay, more
baduseless weapons for warrior...How can this return to your hand... if you have tentacles... for arms...
What a bunch of stupids.
Before I say anything, this is a BAD card.
That out of the way, this card has a few possibilities, namely in Pirate warrior. Pirates usually synergize with weapons, and having a constant one for the entire game, despite the value you lose, *might* be worth it. Then again, one may argue that the low attack of this weapon doesn't synergize enough. To them I say, Upgrade! A scarcely seen card that has huge implications, especially with The 1/1 First Mate pirate that gives you a 1/3 weapon. Not that it makes it playable on its own, but it can be done.
We cannot judge this card by its strength alone, yet by how powerful Pirate Warrior will be. That Archtypes' strength is directly correlated to the strength of this card. And the power of that deck is yet to be determined, if Blizzard keeps going with the pirate theme in Warrior.
I would have liked it if it was 2 mana, overload 2.
It's a warrior card
If this weapon was a 5 mana 4/1 it might actually see play. As is, its completely useless.
That's not a bad idea. It'd be decently useful for "Arms Warriors".
This garbage is just laughable though. Should be like 2/5 with the same mana cost and deathrattle.
first time i read it as tentacles for anus
Costs way too much to be worth it ... Who the hell thought this card was a good idea?!
Maybe they thought Poisoned Blade deserved some healthy competition for the title of worst weapon card in Hearthstone.
