It does 2 damage. If you replaced your Tentacles for Arms with more armor gain cards, you could just let the fatigue mechanic do way more than 2 damage to your opponent automatically.
You won't have Death's Bite in standard, and the other copy would be replaced by Gorehowl. You cannot add more Armor gain cards because you placed two of those cards anyway (e.g. shieldmaden, armorsmith), adding shield block can be bad because it would make you draw faster into fatigue, bash is a staple in aggro meta.
Tentacles for Arms (at least 1 copy) would be the better card to break the ultra late game stalemate
Yeah I guess it could see one-of play. If you went for 2x, you'd almost be better trying to get mileage out of more awkward cards like C'Thun or Garrison Commander though.
Well, since I know of no possible way to silence or remove the deathrattle from a weapon, then there would also never be any need to include more than one of them in a deck.
While this weapon is basically garbage on its own merits, it does have a spot in Fatigue/Control Warrior. This weapon basically speeds up the Fatigue end-of-game for that, because now a cardless warrior can do more than just armor up and end turn, waiting for the other guy to die. He can consistently replay this weapon over and over and hit face with it.
This is not a card you play on-curve, it's one you play when you have excess mana for the turn and nothing else that is worthwhile to play.
Actually this is exciting, i never thought they will manage to create a weapon card worst than Poisoned blade but here we are.
This card is a joke , maybe if it 5 mana for a 5 damage 1 dub , and the deathrattle maybe...
This is the Poisoned Blade of this expansion.
Dude, Poisoned Blade was a rogue card which didnt even work for rogue. This is a card which cannot be removed and will always be with you. Stat wise the card is not great, but in the long control game the card is great as you this card means you technically never run out of cards and against agro, this will kill a majority of the enemies minions. Its a really underrated card which I think will turn out to be great.
It'd be decent for arena, but only once you're starting to burn out on cards. The repeated value is definitely useful, even if it is a 5 mana cost
I think that in some warrior reno deck this weapon could be used... because of fatigue...
Tentacles for Dust
They have to create crap cards at every rarity to fill out packs. I don't think there will ever be an expansion where every rare is good for example, or every epic card is good. There's also plenty of crap-tier legendaries.
I can see this coming into play in some control warrior decks, but I don't expect to see it everywhere. What I was hoping for was a weapon that used the same "enrage" mechanic Revenge and Mortal Strike use once the hero hits 12 health or lower. Maybe give the weapon windfury if you are below 12 health?
Does Blingtron destroy a weapon or just replace it?
I think it destroys it. I know for a fact that you can trigger Death's Bite by equipping another weapon, so I'd expect Blingtron to do the same.
The real question: Is this worse than Eye for an Eye?
what if it grew each time? 3/2, 4/2 ect, even then its really slow
I think a 5/1 with the skeleton knight effect would be cool.
