Can you imagine all the fun you'll have when you put this in Secret Paladin? Just remove Divine Favor, since it's getting shafted, and play Dr.10 to earn you a Tirion Fordring + 2x Boom Bot + Piloted Shredder/Sludge Belcher and a extra 5/7 body!
dude I said the exact same thing. RIP wild mode
actually is it wise to put boom with Nzoth? i would not want resummon boom bots
sylvanas instead of loatheb
you don't even need to build around N'Zoth. If he summons 1 single sludge belcher and 1 piloted shredder which is ridiculously weak for what he does, it's already the most OP card in the game, and that already gets more value than ANY CARD IN THE GAME. You can literally throw N'Zoth into any current deck because the flavor of the month deathrattle minions are already the best cards in the game. If this guy summons 2 piloted shredders, it already has an insane board presence that needs to be cleared immediately or they probably kill the opponent the next turn, and clearing deathrattles like shredder is already hard enough
Brace yourself, Dreadsteed decks are coming.
don't make predictions early guys. We all know what happened with varian wrynn and how it was overhyped
Varian fucks up minions with a battlecry effect, this card only summons your killed minions with deathrattle. It'll work out trust me.
No I'm talking about how we have a tendency to call cards broken / really good even before its released (heck, even before the whole set is released) An example of something that was overhyped is Varian Wrynn, and we know how that turned out. His effect was claimed to be insane by arguably everyone, which is what is happening right now with nzoth
the only reason why varian's a crap card is because he has incredible anti-synergy with the warrior class. Control warrior, which is the one deck you'd play him in because he's 10 mana, is weak to fatigue. I tried playing him and in control matchups, i never wanted to play him for fear of board clear and then he always just sat in my hand until fatigue. Matches where they outheal an aggressive deck are completely irrelevent to playing varian or not. You also want to squeeze as much value as possible out of your cards as control warrior, so summoning 3 big legends (which is "the dream") not only removes their battlecry, but also makes them prime targets for a board clear, and when the board clear comes, it's GG.
N'Zoth will be OP as hell, trust me.
BUT nevertheless people said varian would be broken as hell too. And varian was just one example of how cards tend to be wrongly reviewed by the community before being released, the poster boy of that being mysterious challenger.
I'm just saying that there is no point saying it will be 'op as hell' before we even test it out, who knows maybe all the death rattle minions in standard suck and it becomes a wild-only card. (as of now there are less than 10 death rattle minions in HS standard and some of them have a positive impact for the opponent ((not something you wanna resummon at t10)) )
My original claim was we should not speculate the power level of any card before it's released, not arguing about wether its better than varian, and if you guys wanna talk about Nzoth VS Varian, this isn't the place.
upon giving this more thought, this card will completely break the game. As broken as undertaker. If you just threw this in secret paladin currently, and replaced ragnaros, secret paladin would literally be undefeatable. Onyxia is a pretty good card to play on an empty board, because if forces your opponent to use a board clear and a big removal. This requires a board clear too, but when you use your board clear, theres still a board full of minions....... Not to mention a bunch of big dudes like sylvannas, belchers, and tirion, etc. This card has no counter other than "kill them before turn 10" If youre rushing them down, and they have like 5 life left, this thing still saves them because they'll get 2x sludge belchers + a full board. This card is the dumbest thing they've added to the game. Worse than dr boom, worse than challenger, worse than emperor, worse than unstable portal. Get ready guys, wild mode will be EXCLUSIVELY secret paladins playing for fast gold and legend rank zzzzzzzz
Paladin already has a one-card OHKO, and its name be Murloc. Comparatively, this is only PROBABLY your doom on turn 10.
This is not a OTK combo and it's much more effective than the murloc one. You don't need all your deathrattles. Playing this and getting two belchers, or sylvanas and a belcher, or shredder with something else is already crazy powerful and will always happen by turn 10 in wild. And I'm limiting the scenario to two deathrallets but you could easily get 2 belchers and 2 shredders which is ridiculous. There are simply too many strong deathrattles that can be put everywhere.
you have to build your deck around anyfin, and you have to run a bunch of crappy murlocs too. You literally can just throw N'Zoth into any current netdeck because deathrattle minions are already the best cards in the game. You could even put him in tempo mage, which runs 2 piloted shredders as the only deathrattle minions. If this guy summoned just 2 piloted shredders, it'd still be the most broken card in the game by far.

Deathrattle decks 2: The return of... Deathrattle decks.
A very generic film produced by Chris Metzen.
OP, please nerf it, thanks
Bonus: I like golden animation
does this card work with cards that were given a deathrattle instead of cards with deathrattle listed on the card text
It does not.
