Noxious mentioned in one of his videos that C'Thun's buff is attached to the player, for example if you use revive and it happens to be C'Thun, he'll still be buffed. So in that case I think that all the C'Thun cards should work even if he's dead.
And you can really say most combos with brann are OP. You ccan potentially have a 4-mana 9/9 with reliquary seeker (had that in a match a few hours ago with seeker from dark peddler), you can have 4/15 Klaxxi or a 4/17 Twilight Drake, you can restore 16 health to your hero for 8 mana with antique healbot, or you could even get a 4/-1 Injured Blademaster (OP, Pls nerf)
For all the people even considering this card might be OP, think about what happens if C'Thun decks flop. I doubt they will, as the old god theme is strong, and Blizzard would never let the theme of an expansion just be a waste and not be effective until a later expansion right? Right?

This is more similar to Murloc Paladin than it is to Dragon theme, also this expansion have much larger card. BRM was only overshadowed by GVG and Naxxramas, providing only power creep to Hunter and Mage. The base value is so high that this one might work, especially with a huge amount of cards gone.

The problem is that the entire deck would revolve around one effect, and since there are multiple class C'Thun cards, even if C'Thun decks really are a thing (which they very well could be) there would be so much competition that might not even make this card worth playing. Then again, with a big chunk of the agro gone, maybe 10 health is more significant than it would be right now.

Actually there is no chance that C'thun deck wouldn't be a thing, it is more like Dragon, where Tier 2 decks were possible before further expansion. Tier 1 deck was already possible in-before that happened, and most dragon either have crazy drawback, too slow or bad stat distribution. Making it hard to fit Dragons into a viable deck, until more synergetic card to help slow down the game for dragon.
C'thun is different in a lot of minion have high stable/viable stat, with most of them being strong standalone while having crazy swing potential similar to existing giants/ twilight drake. I am almost sure that it will be tier 1, unless they release some more crazy deck this expansion which counter C'thun. Which it very well may. But at the last it will be pushed to tier 2, and if it ended up being tier 3 or tier 4 deck, it will just be because that Blizzard messed up really hard.

Which will take essential cards from the deck itself, Imo it will be used with Shieldmaiden on C'Thun Decks and be a variable like Reno Decks.

Yeah...wherever it is. If C'Thun doesn't exist (he is dead) then it probably doesn't work. You may be right, but I highly doubt that's the case.

So far it seemed like the only drawback with C'Thun is how tough it is to stay alive while buffing him with minions that are mediocre by themselves.

If for you not getting hit to the face and having supported under bugeted high mana cards to achive that 10 dmg is no drawback then I won't argue.
