I'm gonna miss this card in standard. A nice balanced card that is a lot of fun to play.
The non sense art of this card made me angry.
On this exp they made a lot of human themed cards, cause they existed on lore (they were old scholo bosses). But also they added this non-lore human character and give it to shaman. ¿Why?
¿Why create a new lore character for made it human too (one more lul) and add it to a class which humans can't be?
Meanwhile druids have a night elf and a botani, shamans have two humans (this one and Ras). Its so stupid xd
This one looks INSANE in golden !
This does not follow shamans class identity, one of shamans weaknesses is having very little card generation. feel like blizzard's starting to cross their lines they made a year ago when mind blast and vanish were Hall of famed.
Instructor Fireheart is great combo'd with the forgotten Dwarven Archaeologist for a miracle spell shaman value generator or burn finisher. The package drops nicely into any spell shaman list;
This card is like shaman class in this moment: funny but useless.
Shaman has not win conditions, has not infinite value generations, has not aggro strategy.
Too NRG on evolve shaman, too weak murloc shaman, galarkrond shaman is dead, spell shaman atm is ridiculous (shaman spells in standard are s**t),so totem shaman is pure s**t.
Shaman need a new Shudderwock with new win conditions, not a new Elecra stormsurge.
This is a new Elecra stormsurge. Like Ras.
wdym? Face shaman will easily be a thing and totem shaman is good rn
I agree, Shaman needs a consistent win condition, because there is no point in having value if you cannot win. Fadigue?... ah s**t here we go again.
Just a strong card overall. Early on, 3 mana 3/3 draw (discover) a card. Late game, 3 mana 3/3 draw (discover) multiple cards. Awesome! Don't know exactly which deck would use it (definitely highlander), but in a vacuum it's a great card.
With a single Dwarven Archaeologist which costs you 5 mana in total, this card has 51% chance to discover a 0-cost card (58% if a spell is played last turn). If you control two Dwarven Archaeologist, the chance increases to 81% (85% if a spell is played last turn) but you will spend 2 more mana correspondingly.
Good highlander card
