This would be a great card if they decided to make Quartermaster a part of Classic set... Otherwise I don't think it will see much play unfortunately.
Turn 6 Justicar Trueheart, turn 7 Stand Against Darkness and Silver Hand, turn 8 one dude is bound to die so Brann Bronzebeard and Quartermaster... Profit! #thedream

Woah, woah, woah. WOAH! Slow down there! A paladin card that isn't 100% OP but could still synergize in wild? My mind just... imploded in on itself!
But seriously though, pally has been spoiled with every expansion and nearly every adventure, so it's nice not to deal with an OP pally card. I can just see this synergizing as a QM SAD combo at 10 mana, and if you can set it up well enough, a good Brann Bronzebeard would be scary. When I play a paladin, I just, just can't. The secret pally crushes everything. Not to mention a good synergy card unreleased can still happen.
Synergy with the recruits is what makes pally a pally. The secret yes it is OP and it isn't really on the pally play style but they release Eater of secrets as a neutral for that.
Muster for sadness. Muster worth more than this for 3 mana.
Muster will soon be irrelevant, so your point is moot.
How about - 5 mana - summon 7 1/1 Corrupted Silver Hand Recruits that die at the end of your next turn
And then rename to 'failed to stand against darkness'
This card costs too much for synergy to be effective and can easily be delt with by AOE so it is not good at all.
Hellfire, Blade Flurry, Shadowflame and many others can easily take care of this board.
Nobody will play AE just because this card exists though. And if someone AoE's this with Blade Flurry or Hellfire or Flamestrike or whatever, it's still just a 1-for-1. The only real weakness here are Swipe, Fan of Knives, Wild Pyromancer. On the other had, the card itself isn't that great.

I was so happy to see Muster going away but now theres this! Well , it costs more so it okay but its common. So pally keeps being op in arena
Honestly, I think what annoys me the most is the 1/4 weapon... this is basically 5/5 for 5 split in 5 bodies...
I'd play Silver Hand Knight over this any day. Or even just a turn 5 silver hand regent.
Edit: point is, cards with silver hand on it are good in arena?
