Very underrated..
Gr8 card It has won me so many games.
I remember seeing a YouTube video about the channel's owner against a top Legend player who mained Hunter, and he used this weapon in the deck. The video is pretty old though, but I'd definetely would like to try it out in a Midrange Hunter deck.
This, that Rogue wrench weapon and Warmaul are probably the worst in the game
I think Light's Justice and Stormforged Axe round out the bottom 4. Gladiator's Longbow is probably the 5th worst. Imo it should either cost 6 mana, or have 6 Attack. Still, the "Immune while Attacking" is a unique effect, (although it's retarded that it doesn't work when Explosive Trap activates), and it can do things like clear a Loatheb, Emperor Thaurissan, various other 5/5's, or even a giant, (with a Quick Shot), without taking any damage to do so. I'm actually trying one in a midrange Hunter deck to clear the way on the turn after I drop Savannah Highmane. I'll probably just go back to the second Eaglehorn Bow or second Unleash the Hounds instead, though.
It's not used because it's 7 Mana, Aggro Hunter doesn't use anything over 3 Mana.
I use it and it's a good finisher with the option to remove minions
It is by far my favorite weapon in the game, mainly because it allows you to clear huge minions (8/8) with small minions and usage of weapon. Many time it saved me from losing the game. The immune effect works really well in late game. It is really pricey card when you don't need this immune effect, but I still like it.
Im seeing more of this card atm.
I think I've only seen this card once in a rare fight with a (are you ready for this?) Control Hunter.
Hopefully this will actually be a viable card one day. Or at least more "immune while attacking" effects for other classes in the future.
do you like golden animation
This card appears great, but in actual use..it's hard to get much value from it because of the cost. Burning a turn just to destroy a mid-tier minion with this usually kills your tempo.
Atleast, killing an annoying taunt feels good (LOtA, Shieldmasta).
7 mana is kinda too much for only 2 uses of the immune effect sadly, so eaglehorn it is D:
This is great for taking out a Sludge Belcher. But 7 mana really hampers your ability to use it.
Pretty much an over priced Arcanite reaper, would be better at 6 attack or as a 6 mana card to make it a bit more playable.
I don't agree with that. The Immune effect makes the weapon good. You can hit anything without worrying.
If you wish to get technical, it is pretty sweet when playing against a shaman as u can swing a fire elemental down or a baron gedon and not worry that thats nearly a quater of your life total. also nice answer to cairne , but u trading 7 mana for 6, granted he is a legendary
However for 7 mana you need to ask yourself is there not better removal options available? or at least something better in slot, perhaps when naxx comes out the meta may slow down more and this could become more viable. Most decks in higher ranked play are just to quick to warrant a 7mana removal card (yes there are more late game orientated decks) and the late game decks dont really feature something that is worth killing for 7 mana ( or more technically 3.5 mana ) and i mean the smaller threats (armour smith etc) coz this guy cant really do much against alex gorehowl , or some giants staring you down, if it was 6 atk it could at least be combined with and arcane shot to kill something with 8 health.
Maybe i should provide a list of the optimal targets for this card to get the most value (it will obviously be those with 5 health or 10 health)
maybe if it had 3 uses instead of 2 it would be classed way better
