How I think it can be used: It opens up the potential to run more heavy removal spells and less minions. This card can fill the extra space with the minion spawn when you use your removal.

Like; enemy minions could not attack it, so there would be other ways of dealing with artifact cards.
Not as easy as just running 6 dps into something.
