err ice block counter bro.
I like it but Cursed! is too cheap for your opponent to blow off easily which almost makes it kind of pointless. Even if you have minions on the board, the fact that you used 2 mana on this card means you just wasted some type of opportunity just so your opponent would do the same...
Of course they could just ignore it too, but that also means that they probably just swamped the board with minions and now you're screwed.
It's a guaranteed 2 damage because it's the start of their turn so trading a turn for 2 damage and delaying your opponent a turn isn't actually that bad, it's not exceptional or game breaking but it does give an ever so slight edge that could be easily exploited by a warlock. As for them swamping the board then a Hellfire is more than enough to clear it. Late game though this card loses a lot of value unless it does get affected by spell damage which is kinda likely.
I get what you mean, and Hellfire is good to run with this card... but worst case scenario you just played 2 mana for your opponent to take 2 damage and waste 2 mana for a turn... Its pretty good but doesnt really feel satisfying.
Well, that really depends on your play style. Some prefer outright killing while others prefer delaying the game then ending it in one move. I prefer the second one so that's probably why I'm interested in this card.
Just gives your opponent too much choice. Play it early and they'll ignore the damage while they seal board control, which they will succeed at because you spent 2 mana in the critical early turns doing jack squat for the board. Play it late and it's 2 damage and your opponent pays 2 mana; the opponent's 2 mana difference is usually negligible at that point in the game, so Darkbomb becomes the better burst option for 2 mana.
It'd have been better if it was 0 mana but triggered at the end of your opponent's turn. Then you might get some mana advantage at least.
Think of this card like a doomsayer on empty board turn 2, it can be game swaying.
how? the idea is that if you drop doomsayer turn 2 (on an empty board) them most your opponent can do is hero power, stalling them from doing something like dropping a 2 or 3 drop, as if they do it just dies. this does the same thing, stalling your opponent from dropping a 2 or 3 drop. so yes i am right if it's played on turn 2 in the exact situation i described if you would just learn to read properly, then the effect is similar to doomsayer on that same turn with an empty board, obviously if there is a board up already or if it is a later turn in the game doomsayer is a very different effect, but that's not what i wrote now is it?
if this goes off 2 times, it is worth it ''facewise''.
Too gimmicky to work but its cool!
He also said Anyfin Can Happen is trash but that card is actually pretty powerful if utilized properly. You don't even need to get 7 murlocs out of it. Just decent ones such as Murk-Eye and Bluegill.
Deal 2 damage to the enemy hero AND remove two of your opponent's mana crystals for a turn? Its basically not good enough as a card slot even though mana wise it is kind of good since it copsts both of you 2 mana however 2 damage to the enemy hero is not good enough to take up a deck slot.
counter freeze mage
idk man, 2 mamas can be expensive y know?
he was making fun of your typo :/
Troggzor will be a viable card again ! :D I simply love that card - crafted it a while ago.
I could see this being played at Tournaments, not on ladder, though.
You see a lot of people running Freeze Mage on Tournaments and this completely nulifies Ice Block and serves as a finisher in this Match-up, which currently can be quite troublesome for some Warlocks.
the best counter to mlagyous 9 mana for 2 curses and a loatheb deal 14 damge to the enamy next turn and the best part is secrates wont save them
Wow I did not expect Warlock to be the one that gets the control card.
you don't play it for the 2 damage, you play it for the floodgate effect of draining your opponent of 2 mana the turn they cast it.
Shamans will hate it (if they will be playable after this exp)
