I hope they will cost 5 regardless of discounts, or else free giants everywhere XD
Control warrior dream
turn 3 taunt monkey
turn 4 coin + naga
turn 5 ysera
OP!!
Only has value on Turn 10, is useless on any other turn (yeah it's not gonna survive). It's just an extra 5/5 on Turn 10.
Turn 8 Innervate -> Naga -> KT
Might see some play with big minions decks like Aviana's one.
Wow, this looks really good.
5/5 for 5 mana is not THAT bad, but what this card really does is open strong turn 10 plays with this+anything really.
Nigga Sea Witch -> Dr. Boom or Ysera
Sleeper hit of the new expansion for control IMO.
The main downside is that cheap removal isn't really usable with the Witch on the board, but a lot of the time she'd be easy to trade off so cheap things go back to being cheap. Or, alternatively, you could run minions that can act themselves as removal like Grommash Hellscream or *GASP* Icehowl.
I would say this card is head and shoulders better than Aviana.
Would this add reliability to an Astral Communion deck?
Sea witch giant deck anyone? Turn 5 flood out the 8/8s.
The game crashes.
With characteristic defining abilities like this, the one that hits the board last usually is applied first. For instance, if you play Aviana then Emperor Thaurissan your cards cost 0, but if you did so in the opposite order, your cards cost 1. (General Drakkisath's hero power, Intense Gaze, is an exception; no matter what cards are played in what order, Drakkisath's hero power takes precedence and all cards will cost 1.)
In your example your minions cost 1 because Aviana was played last.
