Considering it's Rogue, this guy combos better than Piloted Shredder in certain decks. Better body, and while you don't get minion on board, you get coin for sure that can combo with lot's of cards in your deck with little to no downsides (while shredder could potentially, give you something bad for you or your situation, like example, Doomsayer, Darnassus Aspirant, Explosive Sheep, Lorewalker Cho and so on).

4/5 or 3/6 would be extremely better. 

On one side, this dies to Piloted Shredder. On the other, you actually want this to die... Hmmm...

The Coin is the best Combo enabler in the game

Battlecry would be more efficient for rogue, this can be silenced instead of Piloted Shredder since we need to cut somethin out to actually play this.

Something rogue players were asking for, a way to get a coin/combo activator. Too bad this is 4 drop and rogue already uses strong 4 drops like shreder and teacher.

Pretty sure they could have made somenthing else than a 4 drop with this same ability, that dies to shreder, so you are basically trading coin for a random 2 drop if you choose tomb pillager over shreder.

this card is absolutely insane. It's exactly what rogue needed. A 5 4 for 4 is already flagged for killing, especially on rogue because of the threat of burn and face damage. So if this doesn't die immediately, you can deal 5 to their face, or trade up and make it die, getting the deathrattle anyway. Then you can play a 6 drop on turn 5. Insane tempo. It's like dalaran aspirant, only id say it's better because the ramp is guaranteed to go off, plus you can combo with the coin with a number of different cards. The aspirant's effect is usually only relevent for 1 turn anyway because that's how long you can expect it to live, and that card's already great, and this card is a better version than that.

I can think of an interesting combo for this card. You coin it out turn 3... then it'll die some way allowing you to coin out Shado-Pan Rider turn 4 :)... or I suppose you could play it turn 4 have it die then coin out Kidnapper.

Oh how much better this would be if it was a 4/3 for 3.
Then we could play him turn 3 so as to coin into Shado-Pan Rider turn 4. As it stands that does not work.

Or turn 6 Gadgetzan Auctioneer, Coin, then Conceal. I have tested this already post nerf and it works IF you have coin. Tomb Pillager just makes it amazingly more consistent.

You guys may have noticed that this expansion is going to be big(3rd rougue class card) I am realy hoping that this expansion slow  the meta i am tired if playing fast based decks .also Im realy hoping that poor garosh gets out from the thrash can.

im sorry man, but I'm almost certain that it's going to be even faster. Face hunter and zoo warlock got a ton of new tools as well as mech mage. And druid got the best card in the set and it's a complete cancer better version of piloted shredder which was already cancer incarnate.

The druid card is actually not as insane as the Shredder value-wise.

The Shredder has the stats of a 3-drop and summons a 2-drop for 5 mana total against his 4 cost ; The raptor doesn't have that ; Now it's true that trading the 2-to-3 mana crystal for a 1-drop mana crystal is still good because the lower the mana cost, the more efficient the minion is, but definitly not as insane as the Shredder, and that's a class card anyway, for 3 mana, on which druid had a gap, and it falls short of using any kind of mana-acceleration baring coin-wild growth - the coin allowing you to play it turn 2 anyway.

So, no, definitly not Shredder quality, only average-high at most ( Like lots of class drops anyway ).
