A large part of her job entails not mixing up the Map to the Golden Monkey with the Map to Monkey Island.

so what does this deck do against a control warrior spaming +2/+4 armor every turn, also what happens if elise/themap/themonkey are in the bottom 5 cards in your deck
same thing happens to freeze mage get over it
Theoretically it looks and sounds awesome. But it is going to mess up your constructed play with legendary minions, with cards that you don't necessarily need, and losing a whole bunch of your own cards that you really need.
Might be good in fatigue decks because it adds 2 more cards to your deck. but i wouldn't play it till fatigue in order to avoid bricking too much.
A nice idea but, do you really want a deck full of legendary?
I have the same idea but in warrior, not priest. Will be interesting to see what happens.
I think Deathlord is crucial in any Elise Starseeker deck. Why? Because Deathlords can pull out your opponent's big minions early, which is good, because then you can spend your removals on them. You lose all your removals when you play The Golden Monkey, unless you get Rend Blackhand.
Elise is hot
Do we need to talk?
It might work like Blingatron where it's golden by default
It works, I just had it played against me, all the legs were golden.
I have a better idea:
Step 1: Create a deck full of legendaries
Step 2: Play
That deck would be expensive.
More importantly, it might have a good late game, but it will have terrible early game and might not survive that long. With the golden monkey you get all your cheap cards replaced with generally high value cards, when you already are late in the game.
You don't say...
Roasted.
@Sgrunterundt: So it might mean that... :O *gasp* this card is not as good?
No it might mean (no guarantee) that this card could actually have some value, even though playing with all legendaries doesn't.
Does someone else believes the author of these cards makes a really weird humanoid body? Its like they are all twisted and anti organically put. I don't know D:
