so, does this need to be in you hand for the effect to trigger, like Balvir? Or will it be free if you played seven beasts before drawing and playing it in the late game? it's the difference between this card being great or crap.
Agree with you there matthistuta. Myself, though, I think that the reason why this is better than Bolvar Fordragon is much simpler. In the best case scenarios for each, this is a 0 mana 6/6 - very useful; that's massive lategame tempo. Bolvar becomes a 5-mana silencable 20/7; the extra attack over Feugen is usually negligible.
Blizz is really pushing pepole to play Beast Druid, and I won't be surprised if it becomes a great deck someday.
But, but, but, it's not a schnake. It had to be a schnake.... :(
beast drood is going to be the first of many decks i'll try out when tgt comes out
does it apply? it says " summon a beast " and not play.
Starving Buzzard also says "Whenever you summon a Beast" and works with played minions as well. So it applies.
OMG BEAST DROOD FINALLY VIABLE HERE I COME BABY
Granting everyone's wish to play beast druid, will be fun to tryout.
Turn 1: Coin + Power of the wild.
Turn 2: Power of the wild.
Turn 3: Druid of the flame.
Turn 4: Knight of the wild.
Power of the wild is a magic card, it clearly says "Whenever you summon a beast."
I'm no expert, but in this context I think summon means "put on board", which should trigger from spells, while play means to actually play the card directly from your hand.
turn five,druid of the fang.
Power of the wild description is "Summon a 3/2 Panther". It would be so cruel not to consider it as summoning a beast. It would make me sad..
Hearthstone players will learn to fear Druid of the Fang
Does this count all beasts played before it's in your hand? Or does it also reduce its own cost while it's in your deck?
This card is really good. If it's 4 mana or less it's INSANE.
Looking forward to play a beast druid deck.
