Crazed Hunter
turn 10 tundra rhino + ram wrangler -> get the yung dragonhawk then coin bestial wrath. kappa.
It's dangerous to go alone, here, take this Parrot.
If Blizzard have plans on continuing doing cards with rng summons, I think they should consider narrowing down not only to the archetype, but also to the mana cost. So lets say this card summons a 2-5(3-5 or 4-5) mana cost beast. This way you dodge the bad 1 drops, and have balance for the stronger 6-9 mana drops like King Krush or Haymane. Also it is way more strategical for the player using this card because then he knows what are his options. This way they can keep their rng "fun" and in some way balance the outcome, to has less backfire/stomp effect.
I agree with this 100%. Cards like this basically read "Flip a coin - if you win, win the game, if you lose put yourself in an awful position".
If it said something a little more defined like Piloted Shredder you'd still get good value but it wouldn't be nearly as degenerate to the game your playing on either side (i.e. I just met a requirement of the card and got a 3/3 and a 1/1 parrot for 5 mana and am not way behind on tempo OR I just met a requirement and put a 3/3 and something huge my opponent can't reasonably deal with and I win).
Well I did following calcualtions: In theory gaining from a 5 mana card a total body of like 5/6 (total 11 points in health and attack) is good, but not OP and anything below a total of 11 or 10 points in health and attack is bad. A total body of 6/6 and higher (total 12 points in in health and attack and higher) is basically very strong. In other words gaining a Bloodfen Raptor or a River Crocolisk isn´t really good, because of the 6/5 or 5/6 total body for a 5 mana play. Nevertheless a Ironfur Grizzlyis already good card because of the 6/6 total body for a 5 mana play.
Taking that into consideration, I came to the result that of the right now with 36 beast, there is a likelihood of 44,44% (16 cards) that are not really good for you in getting. Of course I discount the effects of thesesummoned beast cards – for example Haunted Creeper is kind of a 3/4 body and not 1/2 if you consider its deathrattle effect. Also the same with Emperor Cobra – it could kill anything. So it can vary very much how useable the random card is depending on the situation (or your personal judgement).
55,55% to 77,77% chance of a good beast card
44,44% to 22,22% chance of a bad beast card
(Depending on the situation or personal judgement)
With that having said the possibility of gaining a King Krush in turn 5 (or other good cards) will be awesome, but keep in mind that there is like a 44,44% to 22,22% chance of not getting anything very good, which is quite likely to happen many times. So in the worst case scenario of 55,55% VS 44,44% for a good or bad card, it is almost like a coin toss, which honestly looks really bad, if you don’t forget the prerequisite of having a beast already on the board. But since there is a 55,55% to 77,77% chance of a good beast card, which can be game-changing, is more likely to happen – we can all agree on that Ram Wrangler is a good addition and that RNG sucks balls.
These numbers will change after the full announcement of all new beast cards.
And yes this is my first post on this website xD
The many Trolden videos where this guy pulls King Krush and Gahz'rilla will be amazing. Then I'll pull Young Dragon Hawk....
I'd rather pull a Young Dragonhawk than a Captain's Parrot Kappa
Granted, no wind fury is bad, but I DO kinda enjoy his wee sqawk. :3
Dude try a turn 4 young dragonhawk with blessing of kings, divine Shield and blessing of wisdom. It's double card draw with 10 damage per turn...its super funny against warriors, who have to deal two damage minimum to kill it
i know one day i will be playing against a midrange that runs this and i know i will scream e-Sports after he summons a King Krush and ruin my day
No need to be King Krush. Anything bigger than Rhino on turn 5 will probably win the game. I hate this card.
Beasts: 36
In terms of value:
Crazy - 18 (50%)
Alright - 6 (17%)
Bad - 12 (33%)
And always put this guy on left in case of Dire Wolf Alpha
EDIT: 36 beasts, because Savage Combatant on a hearthhead don't have Beast parameter for some reason.
Some of those aren't just "crazy", they are game winning. Most decks aren't prepared to deal with such huge threats on turn 5/6 without a huge tempo loss and against midrange hunter if you fall behind in tempo you're doomed.
Xzibit: "Yo dawg I heard you like beasts!"
Not like we haven't seen big effect 5 mana 3/3s before.
I will create a 3/3 who heal for 8 the hero ! I don't know where i find my inspiration tonight
So another RNG 'e-sport' card. It can either be really bad or really good. You can get Angry Chicken, the same way you can get 8/8 with charge on the board. How exactly does the player control the outcome? How exactly does he make a "play"? It's all in the hands of RNG Jesus again. Blizzard, please stop doing such cards. I am sure there are other ways that you can make "fun" cards.
Do you like the idea of losing the game when this card summon a huge beast by turn 5 or 6? I can't wait for that.
It takes a beast to summon a beast.
