From Kripps postit was called Holy Knight
it was a translation... The real name is Light's Champion...
lol cool. Blizz expecting demon lock to be OP??
This should be a Paladin card because... reasons.
I've looked at the entire list of demons, and other than Wrathguard there is literally no demon of yours that you want to silence yourself. The only reason you'd want to silence is because of some other effect on the demon, like PO or Freeze. Right now that's just not enough to justify a slot.
There's that big low cost but super strong and bulky one that dies if it's the only minion on the field.
Anima Golem is a mech.
Ah okay.
Ironically, this minion will probably be most used in a Warlock deck.
Well we can't say for now that this is a bad card since we haven't seen all the new demon cards yet... it might be used as a synergy for demon zoolocks.
But in terms of silence efficiency Ironbeak is still da man
da owl*
Situational but it has solid stats, other silencing minions have not-so-good stats to mana cost.
Maybe when there will be too much demon decks on ladder it will work. Does it mean that we will get some awesome demons?
Hm... To situational. I guess it won't replace Spellbreaker nor Ironbeak Owl :/
Yup, a 2-Mana silence and a Beast is pretty still top in the tier of Silence mechanic.
Even Spellbreaker rarely to be seen nowadays, in some Control Warrior I guess, but people still prefer the cheap SIlence, to do some combo after Silencing a big threat/taunt, to go face or trade with Untaunted minions.
I don't see this getting much play but I really didn't want to see any more silence added to the game regardless. I guess they had to print this card because of how threatening Demonfuse will be Kappa.
It's effect works as a meta-counter, just like Kezan Mystic, but on arena this is a nice pick, since it's basically a Injured Blademaster that can't be targeted by Execute
PS. I'm saying on ARENA, not in constructed
Hard counter to [card]Dreadsteed/card]
It's a really specific tech card, but it's amazing against Imp Gang Boss, and can trade with Voidcaller. It might see play in Druid, where silencing a Voidcaller with a Keeper of the Grove is way too slow, and where you lack efficient means for dealing with Mal'Ganis or Lord Jaraxxus.
At least it has great stats for a 3-drop. You can play it turn 3 regardless of your opponent's class and at least you won't fall behind.
They should've kept the original name Holy Knight, so that I can combo him with Silent Knight on Christmas. But ya, no use otherwise.
lol so funny. rofl
