Silent Knight, Holy Knight...
I am upset at the fact that nobody likes this card. It has Scarlet Purifier stats and a pretty cool tech effect that can be used against Zoolock and the majority are calling it trash. Also, running a Holy Knight next to demons does not fit the theme, why does nobody care about the theme of their deck?
I think this card is super cool, and will do a cool job of weakening the strength of Voidcaller and Imp Gang Boss in aggressive decks.
And the name! I never thought Silent Knight's counterpart would be released. I am super stoked that we are getting ANOTHER silence minion at the 3 mana cost with under budgeted stats (Demons are not rare on the ladder).
A very heavy tech card if warlock ends up dominating the meta, other than that it is fairly lackluster. In arena it will be somewhat terrible but not necessarily Stoneskin Gargoyle terrible as it has a somewhat decent body.
YOU FACE JARAXXUS, EREDAR-MMMM! MM? MMMMMMMMMM!
well according to bliz bad cards need to exist so players do not play them #logic
Erm..... Demonfuse! Kappa
I like this card and i think most people are failing to understand its design. Blizzard has already stated that they consider silence to be a unfun and powerful mechanic. This is proven by the fact that they have realeased only one silence card in all expansions so far. It seems Blizzard is trying to limit the uses of such mechanic rather than simply banishing it from the game. I dont think we'll see many more silence limitation-free cards anytime soon and im ok with that.
Can you really afford to run a tech card that only counters one class?
Well, it can be used on Illidan so, 1.1 classes?
If Ilidan ever shows up in constructed, pretty sure BGH would be my counter.
Thank god there is some now counterplay to Demonfuse, otherwise I would have to use all my extra mana and card advantage crying.
Thank you blizzard.
i don't think wraith guard drawback is too huge. it'll rarely deal 4 damage to you.
The downside of wrathguard is practically nonexistent.
Except for that whole overkill thing.
It depends on what is used. I don't think using a 4 cost Fireball to remove a minion and deal 6 damage to face is a waste at all.
Imp Gang Boss, Mal'Ganis, Void Terror, Voidcaller, Voidwalker in a pinch, this is much more than just Ganis, if Zoo becomes too prevalent, this essentially shuts down half their deck.
Also, RIP Dreadsteed
Mmm, not really. The thing with silence is that it doesn't affect the body too much. Zoo thrives on having strong bodies on the board, and if you're teching in answers to deal with the tacked on effect rather than the body itself, you're losing out.
I guess I don't completely understand the rage. This card is obviously going to be used pretty much by Warlocks exclusivity to counter a Demon drawback. Wrathguard, Power Overwhelming, being the most obvious. However, if you want a silence heavy deck you can use this card to as a way of removing effects on your demons. Not a great card not the worst in the world either, might have a spot in a few specific types of Warlock decks.
