Trivia
- Dreadsteed was original destined for the Naxxramas Adventure as a Neutral Minion but due to an infinite combo with Warsong Commander, it was not included. (Source)
Deathrattle: At the end
of the turn, summon a Dreadsteed.
Crescendo himself summoned this steed, riding it to victory in the Grand Tournament. Wherever he rides, an army of riders ride behind him, supporting the legendary champion.

If only Warsong Commander were a warlock card :3
maybe blizzard will be releasing a similar card so dreadsteed isnt so bad
I thought if it had taunt ...
The best card for this to relate to is Shadowform. For 4 mana you are giving yourself a mage hero power that you can use every turn without spending two mana, but is vulnerable to every form of silence available.
Not really worth it in my opinion.
The way I look at this, it seems like this is a card meant to fit warlocks into the new set: A lot of other classes are getting new, reliable board control in the form of hero power buffs, but warlocks don't get much (although they do get a mana discount from Wilfred Fizzlebang). This is effectively a way for warlocks to get more consistent board control (until the opponent pulls a silence, that is), something that they'd been missing previously in the set. Personally, though, I don't think making it 3 mana would break the game all that much (though it would prevent the Warsong Commander Piloted Sky Golem shenanigans...). Thoughts?
That was exactly what I thought when I saw the card was it should be 3 mana. It's basically the same mechanic as Imp Gang Boss except it goes on forever and you consequently have a low attack/weak body for taunt givers, which is becoming more relevant as the meta for warlocks slows down. At 3 mana I think it would be a part of demon decks, at 4 mana I think it can't compete and won't make it to competitive play.
This card has potential, I guess. I want to experiment with it.
Regardless, direct nerf to Piloted Sky Golem and Bane of Doom
now we talk about anima golem
made me kekkle
I really like this minion. It's quirky, and the card art is awesome, which all cards require to some level. This minion can be used with Sacrificial Pact, Power Overwhelming, Demonfire (Maybe even Demonfuse or Demonheart) and evenMal'Ganis.
i See why it's getting hate though. Silence= wasted 4 mana, and 4 mana is very large for such a small body.
Mal'Ganis is about the only thing that makes this viable... Great at clearing but tiny. Make it a 2/1 or a 1/1 with charge (instant board clear XD) or, make it summon two copies every time it dies.
How is that a buff to patron warrior? So he can fill the board with patrons? Hellfire, Shadowflame and warlock still has his ponnys.
and a nerf to Bane of Doom and Piloted Sky Golem
Very interesting card. I believe this card could be good. It's a huge buff to Grim Patron warrior though.
That's why I took out Bane of Doom from my Demon Zoo deck. It's too inconsistent, too much RNG. I'd rather spend my 5 mana on a more consistent minion with less RNG. Even Demonheat is better at this point. It has no RNG.
exactly, it should be a 2/3, 3/3, or 3/2 for 7 mana, then we could have some fun...
Piloted Sky Golem
