I like the idea of this card. It's not incredible, but if you can get it to proc at least once, then you can get some pretty good value plays - Turn 4 Shado-Pan Cavalry is slightly easier, and Combo cards are a little bit better. Also, another card for Piloted Shredder to drop that's not great stat-wise, but has a decent effect.
Honestly, if this was a 2 3, it'd be pretty good, but probably not OP. Because it's a 2 2, it dies to zombie chow + the majority of 1 drops + most weapons/annoy-o-tron and early taunts. LOVE this card though, you can't get cooler than this mechanic though. I can only see this working in arena/ against unlucky opponents without turn 1/2 plays though, but if that situation arises, it's like a better wild growth. Cool as hell.
I think that condition should be "When this minion damages enemy hero" instead of "When this minion attacks enemy hero".
So, when it will be cleared with weapon; it has a guaranteed value.
This card could see some play. I doubt it will be an incredible boost to rogue or enable any new deck types but I could see it has a decent two drop that can help a rogue ramp up for a stronger mid game.
woohoo
tl;dr
Cabal Shadow Priest likes this
The best part of this combo is that it's useless.
I'm glad rogue has another combo-activator. The Coin is great for tempo and for combo, and can definitely help rogue keep up in the early game.
Sadly, I think it'll be pretty hard to activate. If only it had Stealth or was a 1 mana 1/2. I guess activating it will be the true test of whether this is a good/viable card in constructed.
This card is...
< sorcerer's apprentice
< Mechwarper
< mad scientist
= pint-sized summoner (which is not good)
...can't imagine substituting it for defias ringleader or goblin auto-barber.
Your probably right about not using it over defiance or auto barber, but being able to save up the coins (which I know isn't probable) so you can use them when ever and can activate combo, makes it a least better than pint sized. It's worse than the others? yeah. Me writing this a waste of my time? Probably. Do you care? Maybe, idk. Wel have a good day! ( nice in arena to!)
It isn't the same as pint-sized summoner. The card's main purpose isn't to make things cheaper, but to easily activate combos.
I do care <3
*note* this comment pertains to the use of this card in constructed, only. NOT arena!
You're right, nurgling13, they aren't the same. But I was pointing more to the fact that they are "equal," in that they both hold value that won't [likely] be achieved. This is primarily because they are both 2/2 minions for 2 mana, that do nothing when played.
I personally like the idea, and to be honest, I hope I'm wrong, but much to my chagrin, I don't see this little dude working out.
*Additional rambling* further more all this talk of coining him out to "maybe" coin si 7 is just silly. Save the coin for turn two and put a better minion in your deck. Also... Conceal? Just to hit face for a coin? That's wild! (Wild as in please don't do that. Ever. It's a terrible idea)
As a thief, it should have stealth at least!
This artworkt would fit so much better for a spell...
You mean like this?

Awesome for shadow madness lulz.
You mean 4 mana to do two damage to their hero and get one coin?
Sorry, I didn't #sarcastic that post.
