Clarifications
- When burned, through a card like Fel Reaver or because your hand is fill, the damage is not dealt. It needs to be discarded from hand. (Source)
When you play or discard this, deal 4 damage to a random enemy.
* Not actually Jaraxxus' fist.

This should cost 2-3 mana to be ok.
Unfortunately this card requires too much luck to be viable.
If it were 2 mana then it would be too overpowered. Flamecannon is 2 mana deal 4 damage to a random minion, and the ability to target minions only is usually better than the ability to target all characters when it's random. 3 mana maybe.
3 mana makes it way better than shadow bolt... warlock needs their spells to be slightly less powerful like darkbomb compared to frostbolt because of their insane draw from hero power
How is it way better than shadow bolt? The effect is random and it can hit either face or minions, making it much more rng reliant. Even if you do get it for free, you can't consider one card superior over the other.
Even if you could consider this better than shadow bolt, you can't say that's unbalanced when, there are already cards directly better than preexisting cards. Take the new warrior card vs Drain Life. You could also consider Dark bomb much better than shadow bolt.
In theory this card can be op like you play Soulfire and the only other card in your hand is Fist of Jaraxxus.. BUT this will be happend i think in 1 of 10 times ^^ and you must think about this card cost two and for being only use as buff for Doomguard this card wont play in any deck... but its a cool idea and yeah i know my english is not the best^^
*discards everything in hand except this*
Knowing my luck, I KNOW this will happen if I play this card.
Why random enemy...looks so bad
Can't believe nobody has mentioned it yet. This card has legit Deathwing Synergy!

So Jaraxxus like fisting?
best comment ever read about this card !!
a new cool mechanic for a card that acuetly benefits you when discarded ...
but i dont think it'll ever see competitive play
Interesting card, but not very good. But certainly interesting. That means playing Deathwing should deal 8 damage directly to the opponent's face.
So I am only one who spot that image of this card is actualy Archimonde not Jaraxxus?
Fist of Jaraxxus is actually a title
Like 'Hand of the King' in GOT.
If we ''marks'' as King the great Saregas, Archimonde was his lead general and in lore his left hand...
The real question is if you will be able to get value out of it. Usually, playing the voidcaller to get value with doomguard or malganis is way better than playibg soulfire or something like that. You can actually compare it to flamecannon. It might kill a misha but also a 1/1 spider or a 1/1 imp. I guess this card will definitely do his homeworks when the meta slows down but when it will be fast, it will be garbage. also consider that you will have at least the 50/50 to discard this card. It's not a 100% discarding card (if it was, then this would have been definitely great!).
all in all, we need to slow down the meta
I dont think you wanna play this in a control heavy deck with a lot of cards in hand...so these posts saying this are quite absurd
For the people who were playing Magic the Gathering :
Back in the years when i was playing this, there was a Black super heavy aggro deck which reminds me of the new released cards:
Wrathguard? --> Phyrexian Negator like - now we have other benefits for discard mechanic --> so maybe well see a super aggro Warlock deck with Doomguard, Wrathguard, succubus, Flame Imp using their Life and their hand as ressource ( which is pretty warlock like imo)
i like this possibilty - now all we need is our Black Rite from Magic :D
I think the idea is pretty cool, the thought of a card that gives benefit to discarding is very interesting. Having said that, I feel in most situations since you can't choose what you discard this will be very unpredictable at best, so I'm not sure if I would put that on my deck.
But it does make me feel like theory-crafting a discard deck, and for that it is worth existing already.
I love this. Finally something to make those discards not feel so bad. Do you think it works with Fel Reaver too? :D
