Please, everyone knows if you have two Soulfires in hand they will always discard the other Soulfire.

It's just a fact.

I'd argue 3 mana would make it a must play and thus, too good. 4 for 4 isn't a terrible deal in a worst case scenario and ensuring it is one of the discarded cards is pretty easy to do most of the time. It's good enough to make Soulfire relevant in more types of decks again and maybe even Succubus.

That being said, it'll see more play in a dedicated deck similar to mid range or a version of zoo. Turn 2 Succubus + 4 damage to clear something off board or even just face? Turn 5 - x Doomguard + 4 damage to something? That's a ton of value that rewards skillful playing.

This being discarted was a viable strategy if we could choose which card to discard, but we don't. You may have fist of jaraxxus laying on hand after playing your discard mechanics, then what? Besides, i think it is well worth to discard a random card for soulfire since you are dealing 4 damage to an important minion. Fist of jaraxxus wont take that card from you, but the 4 mana take your whole turn and the random effect will hit for face or the wrong minion, making the turn pretty much dead, therefore, you deeeeead motha fucka.

I guess "random enemy" applies to Face as well ?
Kinda psuedo Soulfire I would say.
Imagine a Malylock running this and you have 2x Soulfire and Malygos ready to go.
Drop Maly -> Soulfire -> Discard THIS card -> Soulfire
But the of this happening is quite low, lol.

I think the point is your supposed to discard it, its "Bad, too slow and random" when you play it from your hand because you have nothing else to do.

from how it's worded, I'd say yes.

That's a shame, so i guess it dosen't activate if you mill either?
