Hero Power
Clarifications
- If a second one is played and triggers the Deathrattle, it does not upgrade your Hero Power like Shadowform does. (Source)
Deathrattle: Your Hero Power becomes 'Deal 2 damage.'
You can only pick it up if you are worthy.

Far better than people say it is. Single-handedly made Control Shaman viable, and also isn't half bad to use against aggro decks, since the hero power is great against them.
With all the anti weapon cards going around, getting the deathrattle for this may be easier now.
Shadowword:Hammer
This card was literally made to be wielded by Morgl the Oracle (I know he came afterward, but still...) The fact that it has 2 attack compared to most other weapons gives it a certain smallness that goes perfectly with murlocs. Furthermore, that electric hero power is totally in line with Morgl, who based on his art seems to be a big fan of all that electricky stuff.
This is one of my favorite cards. It is in all my Shaman decks, at some point or another
This card might become quite strong when Hammer of Twilight releases with Whispers of the Old Gods.
Yes, the current problem with charged hammer is you can't proc the deathrattle on it when you really want to, you have to either replace it with doom hammer or wait 4 turns. Hammer of Twilight will allow you to replace it without overloading yourself with doomhammer, and then get some more board presence in 2 turns.
I wish this card was better. Im holding on to it because it seems like it has potential
This could've been a shaman player's wet dream if it was a 4/2. FeelsBadMan
I always think the same.... ALWAYS
It really should have been! Would have been Shaman's Death's Bite

Sometimes I ask myself 'What is wrong with you, Blizzard? Why are you doing this to Shaman?'
To be serious, I still don't understand why this weapon isn't 4/2 instead of 2/4. Both Warrior and Paladin have 4/2 weapons (Death's Bite and Truesilver Champion) and they both are happy 'cause these are the best weapons in the game. And what Blizzard gives Shaman? Of course 2/4. Okay then, Shaman had a chance to get the best weapon in the game but, as always, Blizzard just refuses to give Shaman even slightly OP cards.
Okay, maybe 4/2 is even too OP (but not really), then 3/2 should be still fine.
In conclusion, FU Blizzard.
Best Arena card and can be used in constructed. Favourite Shaman weapon
I should point out that whenever a Charged Hammer loses all Durability or is destroyed, the Hero Power resets as if it were never used. So if you have two of these in your deck, and you play a second one and have it replaced by a Powermace, you can use the Hero Power twice in the same turn.
This card is really good in Arena.
Care to elaborate? In a burgle rogue deck I've got that uses Blingtron, I get this a fair amount. It's one of my favorite things to see pop up. The Rogue hero power isn't that strong, and this is essentially a Mage hero power a fallen hero that will never die. The Rogue hero power just isn't that strong, and whatever IS strong about it is all in how it's modified (oil, so on.) Just in the fact that you don't have to touch your opponents with this hero power makes it trump a 1 damage dagger, in my opinion.
One of my personal favorite things to get off of Blingtron 3000 :)
No overload?! Obviously a typo.
