It is obviously another slow card because it's 7 mana to get the full package, but it's also slow because it will be used to keep the minions for a bit longer. Stormwind Champion is less permanent.
So, as people keep saying, as long as we get a slow deck type that actually can deal with the currently dominating aggro decks, I will be cheer upon the opening of The Argent Tournament!
I think the downside of cards should be being bad outside of a context instead of that heavy RNG monster that we have been seeing so far. I'm liking the cards of this expansion a lot...

If played on 7 mana (which you must almost always do), it becomes worth it with about 2 minions on the board.
there are tons of deal 3 damage cards that must be considered. Weapons or spell.
Finally a good beast, I will try it in my beast hunter, it will synergize with other minions in the late game, it is generally a good card but I would love to have 4 health on this. There is too much early-game removal that deals 3 dmg.
I see this being crazy in Shaman decks if you ignore their totems.
It's not comparable to Stormwind Champion. Power of the Wild is a proper comparison.
not really neither of them are because it has the potential to give more then either of them best case its like casting power of the wild every turn worst case its stormwind champion that doesnt disappear when he dies.
Like you said it makes your hero power almost like casting Power of the Wild, so it is a proper comparison. At worst it's just 4/3 body if you couldn't manage to use hero power.
Basically Stormwind Champion with permanent buff instead of aura-type buff, it can be triggered multiple times, but it has lower stats. Nice card IMO
Inspire will change the meta so much. I can't see this card being good by itself (the whole it actually costs 7 mana), but you're probably going to play a lot of Inspire minions, which all have to be dealt with, effectively making them soft taunts. There'll be a lot more trading going on and lot less Face bashing.
Lol inspire wont change anything. Nobody wants to pay for all that.
Everyone talking how this fits in zoo decks... I'll sit here all alone with my Garrison Commander and Maiden of the Lake.

You guys dont know the dream... Your opponent has a full board you have this and unleash the hounds, yes its the same damage as force of nature - savage roar but... yea... nah this card sucks

I'll give it a try, stormwind champ has a better body but this is a better buff.
This might just be the nudge the inspire effect needs. Stuff like this and Argent Watchman might really get some use out of it. Yes, it is very slow, but it might be usefull in a combo ish deck with Emperor Thaurissan.
Idk, but i am going to give it a whirl when it comes out.
