Not as bad as everyone says, I think it's okay...I mean look at Imp-losion, Imp master and Imp gang boss with all those 1/1s...Now those 1/1s have a huge boast...Also it's great for flame imps....
Look at it this way: Warlock is loaded with offensive spells like Mage, and also Buffs and AOEs..This gives warlocks another buff...
But.....I would be a bit better if it did +1/+1 to non-demons so it's not a dead card in hand if you pull it with nefarian/saraad/spellslinger or thoughsteal.
The reason this card is not as horrible as everyone thinks it is: is that 5 health is infinitely better than 4 health so turn 1 flame imp turn 2 demonfuse now u have a 6 5 that doesnt die to any spells or spell ping if it had 4 then some spells would kill it and some 3 cost minions now its just a big fat tank that gets u much farther ahead than the other 2 mana warlock spell
How about Shadow Word: Death, Kill Command, Hex, Polymorph, Lavaburst, Crackle, and Fireball? Since you gave your opponent a mana crystal, those will all be playable on the next turn.
Then that just means you just got your opponent to burn a removal on a buffed 1-drop. Warlock hero power is too good to not have a drawback for their spells. While they're one or two mana ahead, and while they've spent their entire turn on removal, you now have the upper hand.
i.e: It's not a bad card. Giving warlock the equivalent of a Velen's Chosen is a terrible idea.
Yes they burnt a removal, but they used one card to get rid of your two (the minion and the buff), it costs you some card advantage and they have tempo advantage till turn 10.
You're kidding, right? They used one card to kill two of your cards. And they have an extra mana crystal the rest of the game. Any good player would be thanking you for that misplay.
well, it's not simply burning a remover from your oponent, it is giving a PERMANENT buff, it's like giving your oponent a free wild growth. this could be used as a finisher but why would you use that instead of dark bomb?
You have a really good point, but darkbomb doesn't increase the survivability of your minions. Personally this card, like Arcade Golem seems geared to aggressive play.
Incredibly disappointing. Not because it's a bad card (which arguably is the case), or a poorly designed card (which arguably is very much the case), but because this expansion is about slowing down the meta and making decks more control heavy. This card, if played, would speed up the meta. I'm disappointed in you Blizzard.
The combination of this with Felguard is fantastic, the mana crystals don't matter at all because you have a 6/8 taunt, there is absolutely no way this could be bad.
Deadly Shot, Assassinate, Siphon Soul, Hex, Polymorph, Ironbeak Owl, Spellbreaker, Keeper of the Grove, Recycle, Silence, Mass dispel, Naturalize, Hunter's Mark, Aldor Peacekeeper, Humility, Sabotage,
Oh Wait, its awful with what we have right now and as burst I see no case were it's better than Darkbomb.
I don't see why people think this is such a bad card. Demonlock just got more tools, I think if some more good Demons pop up in this set Demon Tribal will be a powerful deck.
It just got a really shitty tool. I don't see myself ever playing this card, not even in Demonlock, where I'd probably prefer Demonfire 99% of the time.

And this card my friends, is why instead of spending money, I'm hoarding gold .....
wow.... this card just blows my mind...
Ain't nothin' but a heartache...

but on th other hand it lats you play a heavy card sooner
Cool art, ABSOLUTELY terrible card though.
seriously i can't think of a reason to play this over Demonfire

Should be usable on any monster, and if it is not a demon, make it a demon.
Artwork tease.
but if there is new demon with sick ability which triggers when he is buffed? We have many buffs in warlock already right?
