- Cannot attack the same turn it was played if you use your Hero Power due to summoning sickness. (Source)
Can't attack.
Inspire: Can attack as normal this turn.

The way it's worded, "can attack as normal this turn" , does it mean if played on turn 4 with hero power it will be able to attack right away (kinda like charge)?
dat wouldn't be normal ;)
Why so many dislikes in that comment? And I think not Goverdo, since it sayd "attack as normal this turn" and normal means it cannot attack on the turn he is summoned. Confusing, but I think I make sense.
All this card need is taunt.
I can see this guy working in ping classes.
EDIT:In addition you can play some mind games with this guy in oil rogue. They won't try to kill it so in turn 7 you have a guaranteed 5/4 and a 4/2 weapon or a 6/2 weapon in the case of poison.I think we should give him a chance before we throw him to the garbage can.
agreed. this with ping will kill all 3/2s and most 2/3s and survive with a ping for the extra damage... garbage for priest who would want to hero power after attacking, and nothing special for hunter/lock/warrior/shaman/paladin...
I might even considering to use it even it just a normal 2/4
at the ratio of cool to crappy cards... at least i know for sure 50 pre-order packs will get me all of the non-useless cards since i'll have a ton of dust seeing as there is so much garbage to disenchant.
It's alright, but WAY too slow. Maybe if it had 3 attack, it could be viable, but not with 2 attack. Best case scenario, you pay 3 (with Maiden of the Lake) or 4 mana for a 2/4. Not really worth it. This could work well with Sunfury Protector or Defender of Argus because it is pretty bulky. But who knows, lets see how this actually plays out.
The only place this is NOT useful is taunt cards (or silence). Then it is strictly inferior to Ancient Watcher.
That is true, but in what other situation is this useful then? I guess it will probably never be viable because it really isn't worth spending 2 mana on this minion.
The art is cool? And I wouldn't say it's a horrible card, might turn out a decent pick in arena, I can think of tons of worse rare cards.
I think this in fact would be a horrible card in Arena. It might work with constructed inspire/slow decks, but Arena is the last place where you can survive playing minions out of curve.
no arena is about value and there are many turns you just heropower for a good curve. and a 2/4(plus heropower) is decent for 2 mana, could kill a 3 drop and survive
This might actually be the best case scenario. And for a best case scenario, that is a bit underwhelming.
there has to be 1-3 insane cards with inspire which make a deck possible and all those inspire cards have defensive stats to survive. the only problem i see so far is the lack of a good defensive taunt. we just need a taunt which is immune to silence or a good early taunt(shield bot with taunt, cant attack)
This card is the stepbrother of Ancient Watcher
blizzard keeps releasing shitty cards like this .. and i feel more and more discouraged to acutely buy packs on launch
this card, tournament medic, eydis darkbane, sunfury protector, defender could be the start of a really effective buff style druid/priest deck.
It seems fine, not sure if the inspire will be that relevant. I like it better then ancient watcher simply because it possibly could attack.
After checking, this is only the third minion for 2 that has 4 health. The others as of now are Milhouse (which has a garbage effect) and totem golem (who isnt out yet), so it has to be seen how well a 4 health minion in the early game will be.
