8 health is insane for a 4 drop with no backdraw. And it's not a hard taunt like Warden =D
1 attack is a insane drawback for a 4 drop. Why do you think nobody plays Warden?
Are you trying to bring back the Priest combo: Divine Spirit X2+ Inner Fire?
Or this is just another 1 attack minion for Hobgoblin Deck?
Divine Spirit combo is too slow to be competetive and it always will be.
But with Hobgoblin it might be cool.
I don't think it's all THAT slow.
You can OTK someone turn 5 if you play this guy turn 4 plus the above combo. That's 8x2 = 16. 16 x 2 = 32. Of course, that's if it hasnt been damaged, which is entirely possible if you're running taunts
wow i don't even know where to begin, you clearly don't understand the way tempo and control style works.
1, your right a plain 1/8 for 4 mana isn't a good card but it isn't a plain 4 cost 1/8, it has a very good inspire.
2, its effect and hp are soooo good that its very effective vs rush which is were it shines.
3, since its hp is so high it becomes very hard to remove at 3-5 mana cost meaning most of the time its going to live 1-2 turns which is very good for buffs/combo styles.
4, baron rivendare is a really good card for combo style death-rattle decks the only issue with them decks is they are slow so they suffer due to rush, which this card helps to destroy.
5, i don't know where you get your info at but healbot is still in a TON of decks and is considered a top tier card.
overall this card shines just how good the inspire effect can be cause it makes your hero power a ton stronger which means overall when hero powers are used its not as much of a tempo loss and none at all in same cases with these new inspire and you can count on your hero power 100% of the time since there is no current card that blocks are stop its which makes people less of a victim of bad card draw.
I like this card. Unlike healbot you don't have to play it when you will be low on 8 health, you just play it and trigger whenever you want.
And inner fire might finally see play
works well with buffs styles to aka turn 4 drop this turn 5 valen chosen 3/12 and heal for 4. also druid can make it a 3/10 taunt and gives his hero power a turesilver style heal effect with 1 armor, with its very high hp it will most likely live a turn or two for these combos to work pretty reliably.

Maybe a card with an ability like this can help turn a slow-ass Inspire card Like Tournament Medic into something more fit to fight against aggro.
Not calling it balanced but it's an idea. It more readily prepares your mid-range cards for aggro cleanup and it isn't completely useless late in the game.
Yeah this totally makes Shattered Sun Cleric cost efficient relative

I think this card will actually be good against Face hunter, it has high health so they wont kill it without putting effort into it, and it will provide consistent healing otherwise.
