I just noticed: this card is essentially a powercreep on Giant Mastodon, possibly Bog Creeper and Furious Ettin
This card seems like it might be really strong against aggro, or with enrage supporters like Risky Skipper, but really, wouldn't playing Evasive Drakonid be better 9 times out of 10?
This card is very good for its mana cost
Confusing text. Who gains the 2 attack? If this is just enrage, then this is an example of why they shouldn't have taken it out
The minions gets the attack and it is not like enrage. This effect ocours whenever the minion takes damage, so it's like enrage that can trigger multiple times.
Yeah, true about the enrage part but the text still doesn't make any sense. You can look it from so manny differnt points of views. When you attack it, "gain +2 attack" taht could apply to your hero or when you're the one who this is played against it, this also looks as if when you attack it, your hero could gain +2 attack etc. Really should say that "this minion gains +2 attack" because the text even says "when this minion takes damage, gain +2 attack" Not "it gains +2 attack" or anything.
Rule of thumb: If a minion says "gain [whatever]" and nothing else, that means the minion gains it. If your hero gains attack, the card specifically will say so (Shadowhoof Slayer, for instance).
Great against hordes of enemies with low attack power, or spells/effects that do multiples of one damage or similar.
