The Witchwood Guide
[x]At the end of your turn, deal1 damage to this minion and summon a 1/1 Imp.
She would enjoy the job a lot more if she just could get the imps to QUIT BITING HER.
constructed aside - this card's really good in arena. good to keep in your opening hand, or coin out.
board full of 1/1s is great in arena, since it lets you do precise trades, and area damage is less common. the imps it creates are immune to demonwrath. it has obvious synergy with healing and buff effects.
but it has a huge weakness to area damage, and is a weak minion to play when your opponent is winning, as it will get instantly cleared. because of that, i'd rarely pick more than one of these per draft.
I really like this alongside Armorsmith and Battle Rage.
If you give Divine Shield to an Imp Master (for example by Hand of Protection or Argent Protector), at the end of the turn the Divine Shield will prevent the self damage and be removed. The Imp will be generated anyway.
I have a golden Imp Master and I just can't disenchant it, it's so pretty. As a card I think Imp Master isn't incredible (Imp Gang Boss usually better these days) but it's good at triggering Knife Juggler, and nobody tends to view it as a threat, allowing it to remain on the board for longer.
I have used it in my Priest deck. Combines well with Knife Juggler. It may act as a soft taunt forcing the enemy to spend a removal spell on it. If Left undealt with, can do some considerable damage over time by spawning Imps. Spending Imps to remove opponent's minions works well with Flesheating Ghoul. The Imps can get the taunt out of the way to make path for Ghoul, who will grow in power and deal a heavy blow. Of course, provided that you will be able to protect the whole unit for the duration of enemy's turn...
It also works well as making sure you always have something to heal for holy champion
i like golden animation
not u again -_-
Potentially useful in Priest decks where you can heal up the imp master, Druid decks where you can buff up the imps/imp mastery, and Paladin decks in combination with Avenge.
