How to Get
- This card is earned in the Blackrock Mountain Adventure.
- Defeat High Justice Grimstone in the first wing, Blackrock Depths, to unlock two copies of the card.
- Once you have earned the regular version of Gang Up, you can craft the golden version for 400 Arcane Dust.
All I can say is.... troll time :D
I'm just going to post this here as a placeholder to laugh in the faces of those that say this is bad.
Just wait for it....
face rogue can totally utilize this card. rogue already mills the deck quick and face rogue can use this on some charge minions for oil combo set up for game. seems like a card with nice synergy to cards already in existence.
waiting for "oil gang" "miracle gang" "face gang" decks rogue should be still a solid class
Outside of mill, this can be useful to reduce the chance you pick up an early game minion. Not sure it is worth sacrificing a card and 2 mana to do it though.
I can guarantee Trolden will upload a vid where some warrior gets 2 of this card and uses it on an iron juggernaut,,,,,,,,
It's A minion not a Friendly minion, so any Rogue with this card can play it on anybody's Iron Juggernaut. Trolden hype for sure
first, i like the idea of the cards : it fell so roguish :D and the illustration is totally THIS §
Second, this can be the worst nightmarish cards for late game with high legendary deck, even if you dont have in your deck yourself. hello 3 tirion vs pal for exemple, with 10 cards in your deck.
This card does nothing. Nothing Jerry, Nothing.
Ok, I do like winning the topdeck war in Arena. But with the pace of constructed decks I have trouble even seeing this in Mill. I'd rather it put 3 copies in your hand all costing an extra 3 to play. At least it would be card draw then.
Great Arena card, seems like a crap constructed card to me.
Finally a card that makes me wanna play Rogue.
Well because it is! Specifically cloning Coldlight Oracle. It fuels itself, by drawing into more copies of it. If you've ever played mill-rogue you know that the deck hinges on the back of Coldlight Oracle, and how many times you can play it (shadowstep, vanish, young brewmaster). Obviously mill-rogue isn't a tier 1 deck, but it certainly is trolly, and I think thats why there's a lot of hype. Its fun seeing coldlight fill up your opponents hand and watching the cards burn.....
Its also has a good place in control Rogue. You are not wrong in having it in that archetype! Having 4x ANY late-game legendary is insane, because you're only allowed to usually have 1, so breaking the rules in that respect is very good value. I would probably start with 1 copy in your control deck and see where that gets ya! If its not enough, then throw in a second.
And you're spot on for Aggro. Its pretty useless...
Mill? Copy Archmage Antonidas vs Mage, then kill it with Assassinate.
Well hes fucked with all your 0 mana spells and prep and print
You should be skeptical! This is one of those cards that actually does nothing to help your current situation. However it breaks the rules of constructed, much like duplicate or mirror entity, it adds copies of cards you wouldn't otherwise be allowed to have. I think people are over hyping it quite a bit, and it will only see play in combo/control type decks, as there's no reason to play this in agro, it slows the game down too much for them where they'd rather be dealing damage. Perhaps a 1 of in midrange to go vs control a little better.
I don't see how this is viable outside a mill deck. Most games will be decided before you draw the cards And they could block you drawing another card you need. Maybe a mill/fatigue rogue with shadowstep healbots? This is like a worse version of echo of medivh because they don't go into your hand.
except that is 2 mana and gets 3 copies
I might be wrong, but I think that this is the first card that increases your effective deck size. Normally I play Druid for mill because Naturalize is literally the perfect card to increase your opponent's card deficit. But 2x Naturalize only puts you ahead 4 while 2x of this puts you ahead 6... plus it could be oracles, dancing swords, deathlords etc that you duplicate. Or Baron Rivendare...
Edit: actually now that I think about it, this doesn't destroy an enemy minion so I guess it's tied with Naturalize. Still though, I think most of Rogue's other cards are better for mill (vanish, sap, kidnapper, shadowstep)
Don't include kidnapper on a list of cards that starts with "better for"
It's a terrible card most of the time, but it's really not bad at all in mill. One more way to burn your opponent's deck.
As long as they get one of these off on a Boulderfist Ogre, War Golem, or Force-Tank MAX, rogues win every arena topdeck war.
Yeah, I was being stupid when I wrote this. The hype train can be real.
