Clarifications
- You can get ANY spell from your opponent's class, it doesn't need to be in their deck.
Battlecry: Add 2 random spells to your hand (from your opponent's class).
They call him "Blackwing" because he's a black dragon...... and he's got wings.

Why they keep going with the same bad 8/8 start distribution? Its like holding the same cards in your hand just with different text. Make them unique, especially for the legendarys like this one. Something like 6/10 would actually make him NOT SUCK.
Because all legendary dragons come with two different stat lines, 8/8 or 4/12, this sticks with that tradition.
(Deathwing being the one exception.)
if you can get Sacrificial Pact on a consistent basis, you should just quit Hearthstone and play the lottery.
With Ysera you can not get any garbage, but with Nefarian you can get tons of garbage.
No one forgot it was a dragon, we are aware there are many 9-mana dragons; however, you wouldn't want to have all of them in a deck for obvious reasons as 9-mana minions are usually too slow and it's special effect is what highlights the minion. Prep would be nice to have, if you've decided to hold it until then, but you're unaware what you might get and Prep could either be not enough or useless in terms of what spell you get. What people might actually forget more often is that the spell is chosen from your opponent's class not just from their deck. It's like a grander Unstable Portal.
Sad thing only from opponent not any random spells :( but I'm still gonna accept it :D
What happens when you get Shadowform does it replace your hero power regardless of your class?
yes
Nefarian into Unstable Portal into Nefarian into Unstable Portal into Nefarian into Unstable Portal into...
Yes.
Anyone think the art looks weird for hearthstone?
Son of deathwing, BlackWing
Omg, 9 mana 8/8 draw 2 cards. you can kind of compare it to Neptulon as Neptulon costs 2 less mana but has -1 -1 in stats and it gives you 4 shity murlocs ANDDDD overloads you by 3.
You could do yomething crazy with Nefarian like Nefrarian into Preparation with Sprint to make this a 10 mana 8/8 draw 6 cards!
Rekt
twenny wan
but i digress
the card itself will probably be to slow for most decks but it could see some play in a late game control deck. im sure it will be toyed around with in warrior control for a bit
Holy shit so about a month ago, I posted a Nefarian concept on the Hearthstone forums...
http://www.hearthcards.net/cards/8cf9dd42.png
I drew inspiration from the fact that in Blackwing Lair, Nefarian has the ability to use heroes' abilities against them.
By some extraordinary miracle, I successfully guessed the mana cost, the attack, the health, and most surprising of all - the image! (I pulled it off Google Images :P) Even the text is backed up with a surprisingly similar thought process!!
The following is more directed at members of Blizzard:
Was the actual Nefarian concept based on mine in any way? I really hope someone replies!! It would make my day if someone tells me it was based off mine XD
Thank you for reading!

(P.S. Here is the thread I started a while back: http://us.battle.net/hearthstone/en/forum/topic/16542804239 The links there have been taken down suspiciously...so I made a new one specifically for this post haha)
(P.P.S. If you read to the end of the first post in the above link, you'll notice an "old concept". This was taken down too unfortunately, but I made a new one for this one too: http://www.hearthcards.net/cards/c6f1b16c.png I felt this one was a bit underpowered so I changed it.)
(P.P.P.S. The last post on that thread is me after the release of the Blackrock Mountain trailer, realising with a shock that it featured an extremely similar card to mine!!)
Hey man, great concept! I did like the official Nefarian, but I liked yours a lot more.
Will this card see play, in the current Agro style meta, probably not as much, however in the a slower meta like days of old, yes it will.
While will this card see play
1. Card advantage, late game you are drawing off the top getting two instant spell (some of which you may be able to cast straight away) is very good (hard to say if Ysera is better in the manor, less potential cards total but drawing them at a faster pace)
2. Everyone has been talking its BGH-able (not sure if thats a word but lets go with it) and while yes it is, so is a lot of cards in a slower meta, Rag, Dr.Boom, Mountain and Molten Giants Deathwing etc and that doesn't even class some of the BGH-able class cards, the fact is most people will run 1-2 BGH's (unless a mage gets lucky with unstable or you have some form of bounce mechanics) a slower meta encourages bigger hitters, we need to remember this.
3. We currently only know 50% of the total cards from Blackrock Mountain, of those we have seen Dragon synergy and such, who knows how much more will come out of this adventure.
nice card .. i love it
why no blue eyes white dragon in HS?
Very valid point. Card advantage is everything. Unless the cards are trash and stay in your hand. Than that can be pretty annoying.
