The Vision of Darkness can be counterspelled and you lose it. Dont know if thats a bug because it definately says "Permanently" stays in your hand.
It's insane how bad this card is in Standard, it needs several buffs to be useful.
You're doing nothing for the turn it's played and then need to actually spend 3 mana to hope you RNG discover something useful. Not to mention you're still paying the full mana cost of the discovered card. Since it's also an actual card sitting in your hand, your opponent can steal or copy it and it can potentially clutter your hand with useless cards.
It should have been a 5/5/5 with either rush, taunt, or lifesteal so it had better synergy with the undead resurrect package. The visions card should have been a discover effect at the start of your turn so it can't be chained over and over for broken combos (memes or otherwise) and allow for the discovered card to be discounted.
Favorite card of the entire set. Looking forward to it!
This was probably nerfed in testing, because no way this is good at 3. At 2 this would be semi-good infinite Thrive in Shadows, but this is trash wtf.
Nazmani Bloodweaver, in wild; once this gets to 0, if you would have otherwise gotten stuck with expensive cards in hand you can just play this a few times to reduce their cost, the only thing holding back the otk is the time limit.
ok, you get a permanent card, but how it works? is it like DK rogue, or it really stays in your hand and allows you to play multiple times in a turn if possible? kinda hard to evaluate the card without more information
My guess...
2 mama spell. "Your next healing deals damage instead". With an echo that leaves a copy.
It must be something very special since it explicitly says "permanent", when cards added to your hand are already permanent by default. My guess is that the vision is a copy of a card in your opponent's hand or deck, and when you play it you immediately get the vision back.
İ wondering how working with mana cheat so i mean 3 palm reading and now have a 0 mana permanently? Because same card not adding it copy to my hand
If you can't grasp how a Hearthstone card works after seeing it played exactly once, I guess every aspect of your life must be perpetually filled with doubt and confusion.
Guess this is another trash card for a priest.
I honestly think that this, in unison with the 1 mana ressurect, will be a legitimate combo. 3 Radiant Elementals makes this free, then it's just rolling for low-cost spells, the 1 mana resurrect, and damage like Void Shard and stuff. I think priest is gonna be big this time.
Hope the " Permanently " description on this card will make it viable . Im tired of useless priest legendary just to full the card pool
That hero power is called "Death's Shadow" and the duplication card is played "Shadow Reflection".
Isn't vision of darkness the hero power of the dk rogue hero? It became a copy of the last card you played this turn
Whatever it is, it takes up a hand spot. Priest to drop under 40% winrate again. No need to see the rest of their set to know.
My wild guess: A permanent Chameleos
It fits the thief theme and won't be helpful most of the time.
If you want to catch a Hearthstone dev, you have to think like a Hearthstone dev.
Modern hearthstone’s card explanations are so confusing they make Yugioh look simple and clean by comparison. Craft a custom deck. Plunder the enemy. Add visions of darkness to your hand. Wtf all this even mean? Like, hello?
Yugioh is simple and clean? In Yugioh you need multiple paragraphs to explain how you can and cannot use a card because they are so precise and specific.
The amount of cards that use flavor text like "Plunder" or "Eat" are few and usually are Legendary. Hearthstone doesn't have any use for specific and precise wording so changing a word like "Destroy" to something that usually mean the same thing like "Kill" or "Eat" would not alter anything. In Yugioh however, I believe if a card said "Destroy a monster" and another said "Send a monster to the graveyard" then it doesn't necessarily mean the same thing.
Lastly if you don't know what "Add Vision of Darkness to your hand" means then I am not sure you can even understand basic English. Multiple cards were released already that adds a [Card Name] to your hand. Visions of Darkness is most likely a Priest card (or generated card) yet to be revealed. "Add X to your hand" can only mean add a card to your hand, like what do you expect other than a card to be added to your hand? A Hamburger? When, in the history of Hearthstone did you add anything but cards to your hand?
