Do people seriously think this will remove a minion and all copies of it in everyone's hand and deck AND future iterations that will appear? That's not what it's going to do. It's the same as like Entomb, except the card doesn't go anywhere afterwards.
'Silence and destroy a minion' is more descriptive, or something similar given the fact that it doesn't actually silence it. But yeah, people were thinking it can have 'all copies' effect because the text is simply lazy. It gives room for several interpretations.
Better than polymorph. I don't think polymorph saw play much so it's ok.
I feel like people are misinterpreting the card, it doesn't stop that minion from being able to exist in any form in the game. If it did, it would read the same as Whirlpool and have additional text explaining that such as "wherever they are". It's a targeted "poof" from The Amazing Reno.
It does not remove all minions with the same name as the one targeted. So it's not a wincon against the likes of skele mage and stuff. Good against ressurect decks though.
That is unbelievable strong card. U can instantly win a game against a boar priest, skeleton mage, wildseed hunter, relic demon hunter, jade druid etc. with one card.
Really too much overpowered
the text of this card is so lazy. what does remove from game mean?
removed from board without any deathrattle triggered? removed from board with deathrattle triggered? does it remove copies from the deck? can you still summon that minion via other ways?
also, i thought this effect is so strong that only legendaries can have it. apparently mage has 2 cheaper Flik Skyshiv
So it removes those pesky 2/2 skeletons from game? No more volatile skeletal generated from locations?
This is a card that belong in another card game. Don't put it in Hearthstone until you actually put in the effort to add supporting systems like an actual graveyard where people can track cards that have or haven't been "removed from the game."
But Blizzard, what are we going to do if like few hours from the release all cards are removed from the game? kappa
Nah, it's "minion", not "card". So we'll have to make do with spells, locations, and hero cards from then on... Lunacy mage rises again!
Really strong especially with Jade Demon Hunter right now.
I'm assuming that remove from the game is a destroy all including copies except it doesn't trigger death rattles.
Magic the gathering vibes here. Feels good man, crafting goldies of this
This card reminds me another game similar to this, in which the effect "Remove" was clearly different from "destroy/kill/similar":
Destroy/kill/etc as a effect, let you the possibility to USE AGAIN with spell, skills, triggers, abilities, whatever the card destroyed;
Remove means that this card has been banish from the game (in which you are playing into), so you can not summon from death or play again with other cards!
But, if thats the correct way to discuss It, It means that against legendary cards Is POWERFUL, but with Just x2 in your deck Will be rarely a card that brings you to Victory!
If it removes the card permanently from the game in all forms, which is how I interpret it, the card basically hard counters DR Rez hunter in standard for example.
So it's pretty damn good, if not situational.
