In the current Tavern Brawl (Banana Brawl) that is the best card ever, I reccomend using it in every deck.
Considering you like watching things burn.
Love this card, currently running two of 'em at rank 4! Hoping to hit legend with this deck. No one expects it and a Turn 3 or 4 Fel Reaver is basically GG
I'm trying one Fel Reaver in my Oil/Mech Rogue deck. If it gets at least 1 hit to the face, the opponent is unlikely to recover. The Fel Reaver, Iron Sensei, Conceal plays are real! Just make sure you've got burn already in hand before you try it. ;)
This card is best used in combination with Jeeves. What could possibly go wrong?
I drafted a Fel Reaver in my last arena deck. I was versus a mage and intentionally gave her a copy of it from Mirror Entity. Then I cast 3x Blessing of Wisdom, attacked, cast more, and more. That was when I learned Fel Reaver cannot make someone take fatigue damage and lost the game.
And yes, I said 3x Blessing of Wisdom, this was arena and I actually drafted 5 of them...
I also drew this in arena and played on mage's mirror, but i had Humility in hand to cast on it instantly. Mage hex my Fel Reaver right after, but he was powerless to deal with his own. Needless to say, it took him 4 turns to kill it, but by then i already milled him of all cards, and in the end i just spammed end turn button like 6 times before he lost hp to fatigue... Poor bastard got the taste of his own trickery... :D
Massively underrated post.
I've won every time I've played this card in arena.
Had him in my 12-1 Arena d*cklist, works well in constructed not only with Mech Shaman but with Watcher Druid as well.
Dat doge flavor text doh.
Bye bye diary.
BGH gets even more value.
Great card, 9 victories in Arena with Druid.
If you are lucky and also get a Spellbreaker and a Keeper of the Grove with it, it's very hard to stop. And it's a Mech, with Mechwarper in 4th turn, or 3rd with the coin, it's in. But remember to have a swipe to finish your oponent :-)
Picked it in arena and lost 2 games because of it :D 10/10
The card states that "discard TOP THREE cards from your deck." If you have no deck, effect does nothing.
I noticed something odd about that too. Fel Reaver prevented fatigue draw.
right, when you draw cards, and there are none, it does fatigue damage - however this doesn't draw cards, it simply destroys them.
To clarify, the card text says "discard the top three cards", not "draw the top three cards, then discard them". Therefore the Fel Reaver's card effect itself can never directly give you fatigue damage.
If Fel Reaver's effect Fatigued you, it would be complete trash. The downside it has is quite bad enough, thanks.
And I don't believe your Arena story there. That didn't happen.
