Its awesome, nice way to get rid of anything hiding next to a taunt
4 mana cost with 1 overload is pretty good in this game even mana cards has higher cost performance than odd mana cards in.
We can play 4 -> 4 -> 6 that is efficient allotment of mana.
I am digging this card actually. Can't wait to try it out.
Why are shaman getting so many bad cards?????? Ancestors call is terrible this card is pretty dam terrible too.
yet more RNG cards
A very threatening 4 drop, really nice. The mere Windfury effect makes me pick this in spite of Ancient Brewmaster.
This is not better than any 4/5 body, but it has potential!
This looks pretty great. It seems like Blizzard is pushing hard to make Shaman agro a playable, if not competitive, archetype. On an empty board he does 10 damage to the opposing player. No other deck can generate that much threat with a single creature. The same thing can be said for the 3/2 with windfury. Both of those guys are off the hook with flametongue totem at their sides, which means that just sitting out there by himself, he's super scary.
It's also nice to have a solid four drop you can play on turn 4 after your turn 3 Unbound Elemental. I think there just have not been enough strong overload cards to make him playable, but with the 3/2 and this guy that might change.
2 tries
This card is good, especially if you can coin it out on turn three because he can two for one. Destroy whatever is on the board and then attack your opponent. You're opponent would have to remove it next turn with hard removal. If they use another minion it's still a two for one unless the ogre attacks face twice, that would be great too, especially if you can remove whatever they played that turn with a spell or hex.
I am sort of disappointed at the amount of cards with random effects there are in the game, I do not want a static base stats no effect tipe of game ofc but the amount of random effect cards in the expansion so far is really starting to bother me. Just because a card game is very random due to card draws does not mean everything in the game should be random.
Being slow for a 4 (5 with overload) isnt a big deal, his stats and text could be playable, biggest issue with him would probably be the fact you wont want/be able to play him on curve as feral spirit overloads your turn 4 and playing him turn 5 overloads your turn 6 with fire-elemental. Although if they release another card that benefits from the overload i could see this being alot better.
This drawback can be an advantage, since this 50% mechanic allow it to hit players behind taunts.
If one can manage to keep a low number of opponents minions, this guy can work out fine.
If he can survive your enemy's turn to attack, I think the value is great. Hitting almost anything will be fine, just so long as he gets to attack. Low value target just means you get to try again on the same turn.
If your opponent can clear him on their turn you probably got at least a 1 for 1, but hurt yourself a bit with overload.
I don't think anybody has pointed this out yet...
"ogres don’t care about what they hit as long as they hit “something,” so their ability can also potentially bypass Taunt and Stealth" - Blizzard
And besides, I think people undervalue Overload bodies on board. We don't have that many and if you consider just how painful the overload cost is on the others, I really like this.
He has a problem with authority.
Nothing to do with head count, he smashes what HE wants to smash.
A 4/5 would be much nicer for such a card. I will definitely try it out though!
5/5 whould be much nicer.
They would need to make him cost 5.
