Kobolds and Catacombs Guide
Your Mechs cost (1) less.
Mechs that summon mechs? What's next? Donuts that summon donuts? Mmmmm.
Given how Mech cards seem to be so far, I'm definitely looking at this card with a sharp eye. You know, it's a strong effect for any Mech deck; if Mech decks are that good, then perhaps it should be reduced to a 2/2 to round off its potential and bring its power level down to some thing less "Oh my God yes we need this in the deck."
i'm also not seeing it have any restrictions on it effect, on turn 3, pop both copies of these, all your 1 and 2 drop mechs are gonna spam the board, i really see this card being changed before it's released, whether by stats or restrictions on its effect
You'd have to be fairly lucky to have that many low-cost Mech cards in your hand by turn 3. Unless of course you're a Mech-zoo (which, literally speaking, is completely contradictory).
But in the terms of Mech-zoo decks, I think it's fair to say that any early dealings you can get out, like Explosive Sheep, Annoy-o-Tron or even Flamecannons and Shrinkmeisters.
Not including, of course, any of the AoE or single-target spells that you already had before GvG. So I understand where you're coming from, but I wouldn't say it necessarily enhances the present awesome-sauce of Zoo as it is already.
We'll have to see in November, i don't personally think it's would be good in zoo, you only have room for 6-8 mechs, so it's effect isn't busted in a zoo deck
Sorry, I wasn't explicit. By Mech-Zoo decks I'm talking about a Mech Deck that behaves just like a Zoo Deck, but simply utilising Mechanical cards and their synergy. Not incorporating Mech cards into an already-known Zoo Deck.
Currently, you can still use Undertakers in, I think, quite a few Mech decks because some deathrattle cards have exponentially more powerful deathrattle effects if procced twice (lo and behold, Baron Rivendare):
Piloted Sky Golems, Piloted Shredders and Clockwork Gnomes.
Obviously, only one, maybe two of these cards would be viable in the use of a Mech-Zoo deck. But there could be more.
Also worth noting that Piloted Shredder is far from a bad use in a Mech-Zoo deck provided that you do have that Mechwarper bonus. 4/3 for 3 is indisputably good; adding another 2-mana cost minion after that is incredible (especially if it's a Millhouse Manastorm).
