after so many complains about this card i cant decide anymore: should i spend 1600dusts or it will be nerfed soon
You win either way. Ignoring the debate wether he needs a nerf or not, he is certainly one of the best minions in the game, while sitting comfortably at 7 mana (not much competition there unless you play Druid... and even then you can pick the good Doctor).
And if they nerf him? Well nice, you enjoyed an apparently overpowered card for as long as it lasted AND you get your dust back. Seriously, at the moment he is the safest card to craft.
Boom just needs to get nerfed. The card remains relevant at all stages in the game, the bots rng can really mess everything up for you and in the best case scenario 17/9 worth of stats is just retarded for 7 mana. Alter the bots to be 0/1 or make boom cost 1 or even 2 more mana, or lower the max damage on the bombs, 4 is just too much as it can deal with 5 health minions in that case and most of the time gives boom a free swing for 7. I like the idea behind him, the execution is just terrible as monsieur boom is played in 95% (34%, I know, hyperboles.) of the decks now and usually stomps faces with it.
You really can't think of the stats like that, it's three different minions, its all random, and there are just way to many statistics to think of Dr. Boom as a 17/9. Besides, I've seen lots of games when Dr. Boom immediately gets killed by Big Game Hunter, Shadow Word: Death, and so much more. Sure, it's a great card, but it's all random.
Even with big they are still at best slightly up on tempo and even on cards with shadow word death you are down on both in most situations.
I know it's a great card, I was just stating that it couldn't be considered a 17/9
He is more like a a 9/7 that deals 5 damage randomly
I do not think of his stats like that, as said that is a best case scenario, thank god it's not always like that. Still looking at his stats in a more realistic fashion means he has a 7/7 body with 2 1/1's that usually deal +/- 5 damage total (2.5 bomb damage on average. not calculating the 1 damage they deal when they attack, just the deathrattle). People usually take either half or their entire turn to deal with Herr Boom, and that excludes the bombs and this means you gain quite a lot from just playing boom, the tempo swing is too big on this guy.
I find it funny everyone calls him Dr Balance as everyone knows he's op. Funny stuff.

Very nice card to use, but i really hate running into the, almost standard, Big Game Hunter.
what about if they make Dr. Boom a 7 mana 6/8 that summons two 1/1 boom bots that deals 1-2 damage that seems like the best nerf right
6/8 would not nerf it, it would make it untargetable for a Big Game Hunter and with a 8 body would be harder to remove.
One thing they could do is reduce the max rng on some of the boom bots.
I think maybe the best solution would be -1 health, not attack. BGH should still be the easy way to kill this thing, and I think -1 attack may even count as a buff...?
Make War Golem into a mech would be balanced enough, legendary should be stronger card to it's closest basic card comparison but not stronger in a sence it's straight up better in every situation - and i don't thing playing around MCTech really counts.

I think you just need to make the bombs 0/1 so they can't pop themselves. That's what makes them powerful, giving them attack damage.
