Pensear would fap over that golden animation.
Most people will know this already by now, but since no-one mentioned it here:
This spell's first Choose One effect grants its caster 2 filled Mana Crystals, that can be used that turn.

Why does Jeeves get played over Nourish in Egg Druid decks?
I never realized this, but this card's Mana option is essentially 2 Wild Growth for 3 mana, in 1 card! If you Coin it or Innervate it, it might be really strong. But I think the meta favors fast decks too much for that to be viable right now.
Thanks to Astral Communion, this card will probably see more play.
Does the mana crystal option work as a mixture of The Coin and Wild Growth?
A decently useful card for the draw effect, as it stays mana-effeccient compared to other similar cards such as Sprint or Arcane Intellect. Note that it does NOT give 2x Excess Mana if used at 10 mana, meaning that you cannot combo it with Gadgetzan Auctioneer to draw 5 cards at 10 mana instead of the normal 3. Given that, the extra 2 mana crystals portion of this will rarely find use. The only time one could gain value from the mana gain is if you have 2 or more 8 cost cards in your hand on turn 5.
For overall card draw, Ancient of Lore will prove more versatile then this card, as it allows you to heal either yourself or a meaty shield, or draw 2 cards, in addition to putting a body on the field
