Whirlpool synergies lol... Solid card still
always pick second best choice so your opponent guesses wrong 99% of the time.
This card is being vastly underestimated. It's a cycle 1 drop with good stats.
The chances of your opponent also getting a card are low enough that this is good. Also you get to choose which Legendary you both get at worst. Meaning you can pick one that's good for you and may not be good for your opponent.
The chances that your opponent will guess correctly will not be low at all. It will often be extremely easy.
There are not many legendaries in the pool that would be a one-sided benefit.
This is a true priest card, which can be seen as both positive and negative.
I truly like the style of these type of cards but at the same time, there is no place for these type of cards in meta decks.
i dont belive thats totally correct. As long as you can get more value than your oponent from the legendary, its still worth. Also this is less intuitive than spells or minions. Did the priest player choose a neutral leg cause Priest was too obvius? or the priest player just choose the overall best card?
Feel like the card can be abused if not properly designed and I don't trust this small indie company.
If opponents guess on your turn, some people will definitely try to rope your turn if possible.
If they guess on their turns, there may exists some animation shenanigans like Nozdormu, Brann, Shudderwok, etc that you can force them to lose their turns guessing a lot of stuffs or disrupt their APM combo turns.
Good point, hopefully the opponent guesses at the start of their turn
Fun card. I was kinda surprised that it was a rare. Feels more like an epic.
If all 3 choices are good above-average Legendary minions, it'd make the opponent harder to guess.
If there is an obviously good choice above the rest, it's better to go for the 2nd or worst choice then....
I think that in many cases a legendary that is good for your deck will be not as good for the opponent, making it sensible to still go for the best option, in which case you are essentially just giving your opponent an extra card.
Adding a card to your opponent's hand as part of value has never been viable.
This is a pure value card, and value is worthless in current day Hearthstone. It's even worse than that since you have to pick a suboptimal legendary to avoid the opponent getting a copy.
False. Have you played Hearthstone this expansion? Control/value is dominating.
They’ll get the choice at the start of their turn I’d assume.
Will the opponent guess it in your turn or at the beginning of their turn?
Wait hold on. Is this the first time a choice on your turn will initiate a blocking action by your opponent? What if they just sit there?
I don't think is a blocking action. My guess is that you can keep playing whilst the opponent has the three floating cards on their side. I don't even think you ending your turn will finish that phase (since you could end your turn quickly in order to spoil the choice).
Cora, a team member, wrote on twitter that the opponent will have his choice to pick a legendary at the start of his turn.
Oh, I see, makes more sense, to be honest. Thanks for clarifying :) I guess if you play your choice right away there won't be any guessing on your opponent's turn then.
