Mistermath's Card Ratings for Voyage to the Sunken City:
5/10
This is an interesting take on another 9 mana Twisting Nether with upside(?). The primary comparisons here are Plague of Death and DOOM!. While destroying copies of cards seems pretty cool, unlike drawing cards or silencing the board, it's an effect that only will really hurt opposing control decks. With that in mind, it seems like control priest will need more than this to work. It's already got the guaranteed wincon of Selfish Shellfish+Xyrella, the Devout to deal with control, and adding this is a bit overkill. I will say, though, that when the opposing priest plays Kazakusan against me as control warrior, priority #1 becomes killing it, as if I don't, they can Whirlpool their own Kazakusan to get rid of mine.
Edit: The buff to 8 mana is unexpected, but also uninteresting. It obviously makes the card better, and allows it to fit nicely into quest priest, but the inherent purpose of the card as an anti-control boardclear isn't really impacted. This card goes to 6/10.
Strong ad but you can't play this thing in DH Priest for luck. I'll try 2022 razakus Priest with these new cards.
pure cancer again ! dont touch my deck blizzard u dumb apes
Yep, basically, a super power Flik for PRIEST.
And a nature spell on top of that? Wtf? (I mean, I get why the spell itself is a nature spell, but in Priest?)
True, odd as hell.
probably so it can't be drawn using cards that go find holy and shadow spells. guarantees they won't have it turn nine unless drawn normally.
