Mistermath's Card Ratings for Voyage to the Sunken City:
6/10
Ah, the evil twin of Arcane Artificer. Raj Naz'jan is a solid finisher in a spell-heavy hunter, of which there is one currently: quest hunter. There, it's actually one of the worst cards, as it's almost entirely a dead card until the final combo, but once you get there, it's very good at providing reach. Its power is limited also by your mana crystals, preventing it from one-shotting the opponent by itself. Overall, it's honestly not too strong, and an interesting card that is seeing sparing play in both quest and face hunter due to its limitations and conditional effect.
good way to fix quest hunter, drown it with so much support that they'll have trouble picking the quickest way to kill you
I see a lot of folks talking about this being a face hunter card, but it's way too slow and requires too much setup for that. This seems like a great mid-range hunter card to close out games with.
WILD MODE REVIEW
This is seriusly insane. Cheap and game changer. We know well how even 3 or 4 hp makes difference against hunter. This push again quest hunter. That it will be even more a menace against slower decks.
Imagine getting multiple copies of it on board
Quest hunter is even less interesting to play an$ to play against than face hunter. It makes no sense to support that with a card like this.
With quest completed and in a late turn... this is nasty.
Seems pretty auto include in a face deck
I've got some damage spells in Even Hunter to bring up...
It looks like 2 Mana battlecry "deal 8 damage to enemy hero".
