I would say it's been a few days at least but maybe up to a week without any sound in-game at all. I have tried all of the suggested fixes regarding drivers, volume controls, in-game settings reset, complete re-installation, etc. Nothing has worked.

The most common cause for this is that the game is muted or has its volume level turned all the way down.
To check, start up the game, then alt-tab out to the desktop and right click the speaker icon on the lower right side of your task bar. Select Open Volume Mixer and check to see if the volume level is too low or if the game is muted.
Also, if you happen to be using Razer's Synapse app, it has the ability to selectively mute games too so it should be checked.
If none of the above helps, could we get your DxDiag info please?
You can find this information in the DirectX Diagnostic Tool:
Press Windows Key + R.
Type DxDiag and press Enter.
In the DxDiag window, at the bottom, click Save All Information.
Name the file "dxdiag" and click Save. (note where it's been saved so you can find it)
Locate the Dxdiag.txt file just created and open it to copy and paste ALL of it's contents into your reply.
