The Grand Tournament Card & Info Recap
This past week we learned about Hearthstone's second card expansion, The Grand Tournament. We've got some of the more important info you need to know, and all the cards that have been revealed, below. For more detailed information, head on over to our Grand Tournament Guide!
- The Grand Tournament will release this August and will contain 132 new cards.
- A new keyword, Inspire, has been added. Inspire triggers whenever you use your Hero Power.
- The expansion has a lot of cards which interact with Hero Powers.
- There will be a new type of card pack in the store, which costs 100 gold, or the same real money prices as current packs.
- A special discount will be made available this week as a pre-order for the expansion.
- This will allow you to pre-order 50 packs of cards for $50 USD (£34.99) and get the Triumphant Card Back.
- You can only pre-purchase once per account.

Posted Jul 26, 2015 (Blackrock Launch)So far the cards are very underwhelming and I don't see them holding up against the current meta. After BRM I won't be surprised if the meta does not really change. I'll hold off judgement until we see all of the cards but so far I'm not impressed.

Posted Jul 26, 2015 (Blackrock Launch)Not too keen on the change to the Arena rewards, but I haven't really played much Arena in awhile. Granted for new players it is not a bad thing, but it would be better if they allowed players to choose which packs to win.
