The Innkeeper's Tale: A Mysterious Patron
Blizzard has posted another entry from the Innkeeper's journal today.
An interesting note, the file below is named "HeroTeaser01_HS_FB_CK_500x500.jpg". It may or may not be relevant.

Quote from BlizzardIt was a busy night like any other as groups of adventurers and heroes huddled around a heated game of Hearthstone in the Inn’s common room. There was an air of tension as the game in progress began to go into its final rounds, both opponents staring into their hand of cards with intense focus. Spectators wrung their hands and watched each play with baited breath, hoping their favored player would emerge victorious.
A collective gasp and hearty applause accompanied the epic final plays by both opponents, followed by excited chatter and the sound of mugs clinking together in celebration. The winner boasted merrily to the gathered crowd while his opponent ponderously mulling over his plays, unsure as to where he went wrong. The innkeeper grinned broadly to himself, as he wiped down the bar; this night, like every night before it, was just the start to another rousing story these patrons would later regale to their friends.
Eyes flickered over to the door of the inn as it swung open, heads absently nodding in greeting to the visitor. Some gazes held at the door, and ever so slowly, the excited chatter that filled the inn with a buzzing din hushed to a whispering murmur. The innkeeper looked up; curious as to what could possibly calm the raucous energy that had previous filled the air.
An imposing, broad shouldered figure lingered at the door. Patrons squinted, their eyes adjusting to the light as they tried to make out the newcomer. Hesitation brought with it a mild tension as for a brief moment, no one moved or spoke.
The innkeeper’s warm, hearty laugh echoed throughout the common room as he gestured the newcomer inside, breaking the sudden silence. The patrons laughed along with his infectious guffaw. Mugs were hefted high, and cries of challenge were shouted, clamoring to be heard.
Oh, the stories that would be told tonight!
i wish they made it like if you reach legend with that class then you get it for free or something
Yeah that's true, maybe there could be like a challenge that from rank 10 you have to use the same deck until legend or else you can't get it that season. idk wishful thinking I guess.
I've changed my mind... I don't think they'll fill out the Horde/Alliance for each class if it doesn't make sense (ie. they have far more iconic characters). Selling them for $10 each means they'll just keep adding new ones every few months to the store.
this is a F2P game and way more F2P than any game Ive ever seen you can get EVERYTHING in this game in a reasonable amount of time.
I got all wings of BRM with gold, all wings of Naxx with gold.. tons of legendaries with gold.
you kiddos need to chill out it's just cosmetic

Translation: New #hearthstone hero - Magni Bronzebeard. For Kaz Modan!
What if they're adding new class characters for 2x2 action? so like you can both play warriors with different warriors?
If it's a dwarf hero for warrior ...now i'll have a reason to play the class! By the looks of it, i'm gonna say ...King Magni Bronzebeard!
And if they are gonna add one new skin to each hero, going Alliance vs Horde, then i'm gonna guess:
Druid - Hamuul Runetotem (Horde)
Hunter - Shandris Feathermoon (Alliance)
Mage - Rommath (Horde)
Paladin - Lady Liadrin (Horde)
Priest - Sen'jin (Horde)
Rogue - Garona Halforcen (?)
Shaman - Nobundo (Alliance)
Warlock - Wilfred Fizzlebang (Alliance)
Warrior - Magni Bronzebeard (Alliance)
Not so sure about the Priest and Warlock but those are my best guesses!
Yes to Wilfred Fizzlebang... ESPECIALLY if they have an interaction with Jaraxxus
TRIFLING GNOME...
At first I thought it was a new class, but after seeing the warrior symbol, it's probably either an alternate skin or an alternate hero power. Either way, interesting.
Nice catch, they are all there (Magni instead of Garrosh) all but Rexxar. I hope I'll get a full refund for my double Gahz'rilla after they delete him from the game :D
New class icon is ok but alternative art for common class cards also would be amazing!
I don't think any of the class cards would need renaming or even re-imaging, as a large number of warrior cards already feature alliance or non-horde characters. Imagine a Kor'kron Elite with a Dwarf skin? Imagine Garrosh being defended by a gnome. Well, he commonly is.
Eh.... I am hoping for more content, not just more cosmetics. What I really want are more game modes such as 2v2.
This seems like an extra little thing that will come with the next expansion. (the one they will talk about at E3)
King Magni Bronzebeard, Lord of Ironforge,
Warrior class, with a cape, and the obvious long beard.
Bliz con is in November which is 5+ months away. I would hope they are not going to be that slow to release new content....and tease this out that long.
After thinking about it, a Huge under-taking of adding a Hero class with all new class cards would take some time.
If they do 9 classes, and have a 10th as a Deathknight (WOW's first Hero class.....)
2 a month, spoil out class cards for 2 weeks (not all, but 75% of them) plus a few all/all cards.
Release it just after the Grand Finals at Bliz Con...
...rather long, drawn out plan, but, is possible.
I would also assume a new array of types of decks (Class/GvG) to buy/arena awards.
It's not Muradin - otherwise the class icon would be Paladin's (Alliance).
It's a skin for the Warrior class (Horde).
I'd love some new basic cards for leveling alternate heroes.
If you'll take a look at the pic in the post with a lore book you'll notice a hand with the hammer, also something like lava flowing down the mountain. Just dwarfish things
YAY DEATH KNIGHTS!! ALL HAIL ARTHAS!!!
