- Top adventure deck guides get featured on our front-page deck widget under the new Blackrock Mountain category.
Razorgore the Untamed
View the Razorgore Boss Guide - View All Decks for this Boss
- Razorgore has 30 Health and 15 Armor on Heroic.
- He starts off with a Corrupted Egg on the field.
- Your goal during this fight is to not allow him to hatch his eggs. Eggs which hatch spawn a Chromatic Drake.
- Even if you get to fatigue, it's more important that you took the game slow!
- Low cost minions will help you deal with the eggs. Some removal for his other drops is also required.
- Some healing spells can help you survive longer.
- He has a Bloodlust in his deck which will be catastrophic if he gets to cast it on several minions.

Vaelastrasz the Corrupt
View the Vaelastrasz Boss Guide - View All Decks for this Boss
- Vaelastrasz has 30 Health and 15 Armor on Heroic.
- The fight is very fast paced due to his hero power which draws you three cards.
- The latest you will start to take fatigue damage is on his seventh turn, assuming he doesn't play any Naturalize.
- One of the easiest ways you can win this encounter is to mill him back.
- Low cost aggression is also a viable solution to the fight since you can flood your board with everything you draw.

Chromaggus
View the Chromaggus Boss Guide - View All Decks for this Boss
- Chromaggus has 60 Health on Heroic, and no armor.
- Every turn you will get one Brood Affliction card. This card gives you a negative effect.
- The first five afflictions always show up in the same order: Green, Red, Blue, Bronze, and Black.
- Afflictions after the first five are completely random.
- His Chromatic Dragonkins will grow very powerful if you play too many spells - silence is useful, but if you can get rid of them right away with a minion that is slightly preferred.
- Silence is more useful against the 8+ health Twilight Drakes he loves to drop.
- This fight is easily defeated through cheating the AI with Kel'Thuzad and a Taunt minion.
- Alexstrasza can see some potential play on this fight if you can straight up survive until she can be played.

Lord Victor Nefarius
View the Nefarius Boss Guide - View All Decks for this Boss
- Nefarius turns into Nefarian on his first turn who has 30 Health and 50 Armor.
- Ragnaros is on your side during this fight and will give you a single card to help you out at the start of the fight. The card you get is random.
- Son of the Flame, Living Lava, Whirling Ash, and DIE, INSECT! are these cards.
- He will have 10 mana starting on turn 2 which allows him to swarm the board with minions. Removal here is key.
- You want to play safe and never over extend during the game - Flamestrike is a real possibility.
- Keep in mind the spells that your class has access to - expect the worse case scenario.

Lore walker cho DOES NOT WORK for Cromaggus. you can tell by the wording of the blood afflictions. also I tried it already and he still got the buff, now yes you could fill his hand with blood afflictions but he would then just start using them. try replacing it with natrualize for the pesky 2/3s that gain 2/2 for each spell you use. sure it draws him cards but his deck already has tones of draw power, witch can push him into fatigue if the game goes on long enough.
I did a fun version of heroic nef.
I used rogue with brewmasters, shadowstep, gang-up and healbots, with some removeal and lowcost valueminions.
My plan was to get gangup and some bounce in my starting hand, and then prey for the 0-mana 6-3 minion with deal 6 dmg effect from rag. Gang-up on said minion works wonders :) Especially when he stole vanish from me, and sent 3 of them back to my hand.
Wow this week was way easier than the last one!
Thx to the provided decklists I beat every hero on my first try.
Razorgore with the Paladin deck
Vaelastrasz with the Garbage Hunter (that was extremely easy)
Chromaggus with the Priest (I got pretty lucky with my draw)
Nefarian with the Paladin (Equality+Consecrate ftw)
Thank you for the good decks, really helped :)
You netdecked to win and you say it was easy? lol.
I feel like this week was a nightmare...
I netdeck heroic every time because it soaks up too much time not doing it.
Isaid it was easy because last week was a real pain :)
Yeah, I found this week to be much more difficult than any of the previous Blackrock weeks.
Chromaggus at your first try with the Priest deck? Or you are a great liar or you have something broken...
Accusing me as a lier just because you dont believe its possible is pretty bad behaviour!
I beat it because I got Lightwell into Deathlord + double health + Inner Fire and a Lightwarden afterwards, which wasnt killed the next few turns
Someone's a little salty....
Okay, okay you are not a liar, then the second option is that right.
for razorgore i used a steal priest woth cabal and mct and mass dispel and used his own 7/7 to kill him only 1 game.
vaelastrasz, i tried aggro rogue it took me 5 games and changed into a giant ramp druid giving me the win.
chrommagus, i tried the priest in the thread with no success but was able to beat him with a ramp giant i used on vaelastrasz.
nefarius, i tried ramp but it was to slow so i used a molten pally with aldor ,humility, mct and every staple pally card ( ps i dont have equality so its not on mydeck yet i still won by controlling the board and slowly pounding his face to a pulp.)
Just beat them all on Heroic. Chromaggus was definitely the least fun, and the hardest boss out of all of them. You would think the one that starts with 10 mana, steals spells, and stops Rag's OP cards would be the hardest boss, but what do you know?
Anyway, if you're having trouble with Heroic Chrom, play Druid. I found it helpful to innverate some of the worse brood affliction cards away (namely the Red one, the minion one, and the draw one), and as long as you have some minions up and Kel'Thuzad, the fight becomes really easy. Sylvanas is an MVP here. Save Naturalize for Consorts, the 9/9s, or if you're really desperate, the 2/3s that gain +2/+2 if they get too big.
Verse Nefarian, play Paladin. None of the cards he can get are really that bad, expect for Equality. Silence any buffs he can get. Trust me, once he runs out of minions, he gets a ton of the buff cards from Wild Magic and just passes until he draws a minion. At that point, you just have to silence the buffed guy. Aldor is really good vs the 9/9s he has as well. You have to get kind of lucky, but you also have to be really smart about Equality+Pyro clears. Once you can get Kel'Thuzad down, trade efficiently, and then I find Ysera really helps. The nightmare card is really good to use on crappy tokens to trade into something bigger, and then Kel'Thuzad can just bring it back. Pretty much anything from Ysera is useful in this fight... (except for Ysera Awakens)
In the end, Heroic Chrom was definitely the hardest boss in the wing. If heroic difficulty ramps up through the wings... wing 5 is probably going to kill me. But that cardback.. I absolutely must have it... even if it's the last thing I do!
Vaelastrasz the Corrupt with Mill Druid
I tried AI abuse of Chromaggus and it was just a real pain. Double flamestrike and double swipe mean you have to save a buff for kel'thuzad too besides surviving and keeping your taunt alive. I ended up finally winning with it after a perfect opening of buffing a deathlord up to 64/64 where Chromaggus had no early game other than casting flameheart and 2 faerie dragons (which died to my 2 zombie chows). I would highly recommend Druid over priest, the RNG involved in winning with AI abuse with priest is just too low.
The Paladin guide was an easy one-shot for Heroic Razorgore, even without Tirion Fordring.
Made my own Zoo deck with Mountain Giant and Sea Giant to beat Heroic Vaelastrasz, took a few tries but wasn't too difficult.
I tried out quite a few decks for Heroic Chromaggus without success, and figured that I might as well used the Kel'Thuzad + Taunt bug with the AI, which I used to beat Heroic General Drakkisath. Combining that with the epic miracle buff Priest strategy, I made a deck that worked for me first and second try with crazy results. Really all about RNG, but not too difficult. Other people have also had success with it.
Heroic Lord Victor Nefarius... I gave up after a few hours. Hopefully I'll get around to beating it sometime later, but at the moment it seems impossible. Blizzard has gone extremely overboard with the Heroic bosses this time.
Keep at it man, I just beat him with a standard handlock so its definitely doable.
Yeah, I managed to beat it with the Mill Druid deck.
Cheap and easy Nefarius dek made by thepoxbox is the deck I found it the easiest to win with. Once you start playing that guys deck correctly you can have a high percentage of wins against this boss. As it is a relatively consistent deck I went back and demolished him a few times to get rid of my frustration. It is the cheapest deck in the top 5 for the boss, but it is not that cheap with quite a few rares and epics.
I receive countless private messages from people who ask for their decks to be spotlit and they have zero written content. That is why this line has been added!
Not only does that make me sad, but it also makes me sad when people make a deck and say they'll write a guide if they get upvotes - and it's even worse when they never make the guide.
