Did Blizzard forget to let everybody know that yesterday was Noz day?

Are people really going to play this card? Does anyone really want to take 15 second turns?

They posted this at 4PM of the day it was supposed to be relevant...

Because SPEED.

Some people will think this was their mistake, but it was totally in line with the theme of going fast. Truly brilliant.

Activision Employee 1: "Well the boss's feeling mad that people don't accept his amazing new design so he wants people to play it.  He wants some kind of event so people will use it and discover how awesome it is."

Activison Employee 2: "Well, there's a few things we could do.  We could...

1. A tavern brawl where you use your normal decks but the Nozdormu effect happens automatically.

2. Special queue where you only face other people who have Nozdormu in their deck.

3. Buff the card so people will actually use it.

4. A special quest on that day which completes if people play games with Nozdormu in their deck.

5. We could-"

Activision Employee 1: "How about we just post on Twitter saying people should use it today, oh and post it right now when the day's already half over?  Then we don't have to spend any money developing anything or give people any rewards!"

Activision Employee 2: "That wouldn't do anything.  No one would see that and even if they did there's no reason to-"

Activision Employee 1: "Already posted!  Great job everyone."

This would be nice if on "nozdormu day" just one player with nozdormu would be necessary to activate the effect.

Otherwise nobody will use it

Nozdormu isn't needed. Just do the 15th of each month a Ranked D5- blitz day to test players' participation. If it goes well add the blitz option so that when two players have it selected in their options, they'd enjoy a faster game.

If Blizzard was owned by Amazon would they have a "Prime Day" for everyone to play their "Prime Cards" like Zixor Prime?

Thanks Blizz! Now I know to NOT play noz so I can get the advantage of having +1 better card in my deck than my opponents.....

Seriously though the only way to get this to work is have a separate mode / version of standard where you can opt in and be like hey I wanna do Noz quick turn games with each other....

Not a single person. Damn. I used highlander double-n'zoth Warlock with nozdormu, and nope, not a single person played this meme card.

Thank you ! This is cool and I would love to join, however chances are there won't be many players - ofcourse their MMO might place me with a Nozdormu opponent which would be great.

On another note, here's a thought : 2x Nozdormu games for 1 free basic pack ?
Would be a great incentive to bring people together.

I wish there was some incentive to reward those who participate or a disincentive for people to exploit this. Maybe a special daily quest?

Or just buff him to incentive use. 6 mana 8/8 sounds fair. It's not like he'll burn the opponent's cards or anything. Just their rope!

but considering the shitshow in standard the past 2 weeks (ever since release) its a bit "HAHA IN YOUR FACE COMMUNITY" i mean they basically robbed us of a what could have been great weeks "after an expansion launch meta" but with mage and pala ruining everything.

it took them way too long for the nerfs to arrive. gala shaman was nerfed what - 2 days after release?

and still basically all i see is paladin. heck i loved playing paladin before the libram sh1t AND I HATE to play mirror matches (its just boring af) so bye bye paladin
