Goblins vs Gnomes Launches Monday!
We've been through another great card reveal journey together, and now it's time for the release of Hearthstone's first expansion!
Goblins vs Gnomes goes live on Monday, Dec 8, 2014 in North America. Europe, China, Taiwan, and Korea will receive GvG on Tuesday, Dec 9, 2014. We do not yet have exact times of release, but we'll keep you posted.
Goblins vs Gnomes Theorycraft Decks
Some of our deck architects and other members have created GvG deck concepts they'll be trying out once the expansion hits, and would love for you to also give them a shot. Below you'll find several decks which have been Gnomified.
To create your own Goblins vs Gnomes deck, head on over to our Deckbuilder.
Special mention goes to DMTS3000's hilarious Bombs Away Mage deck.
Hearthstone Logic #7: Goblins vs Gnomes
Flamy507 brings us another video in his Hearthstone Logic series, this time featuring Goblins vs Gnomes action.
Card Clarifications
We've rounded up a ton of card clarifications from our Blizzard Twitter friends. You can find them all here, in our dedicated thread.
Damn it feels good to be American.

I think the official response is they want to make sure NA goes smoothly, then roll out the others.
Which, from a development perspective, makes sense when unleashing a big thing that changes your previously stable thing.
What holiday would that be? You do know Europe is more than one country (and also more than the European Union), right?
Are you/we sure that it is actually 'the day after' and not just a time-zone thing? I mean 'afternoon in US' could easily mean after midnight here in EU.
It's your punishment for not being an American.
Since I'm getting downvoted anyways: ITT Europeans complaining that an American game company is releasing a product for American consumers first.
Sorry bro, but you can't use "nation wide" and Europe in one sentence ^^
Actually yes you can "bro"...before you go correcting someone, get your facts straight so that you don't look like the fool.
Not sure how I feel about the new set coming out tomorrow. If this were MTG, I'd be psyched, but as a ftp user, who has no intent on spending money, it just makes the game feel harder to keep up on. I'm hoping that older decks will still be viable intact against decks using the new cards.
If this xpack wasn't free we'd all be buying it anyways, so why not spend the $20 the game would have cost and get a bunch of cards?
I don't think this is necessarily true. Naxx wasn't free and plenty of people ponied up the cash for it, myself included. The base game being free gets people to play, the expansions don't need to be free. People who play the game would buy the expansion. I'm honestly surprised (and grateful) that GvG will be free. That being said, I will be buying 15 packs, because I was expecting to spend $20 on the expansion anyways.
Where did I ever say that? If GvG wasn't free you wouldn't be able to access the new cards without purchasing the expansion (ie you couldn't get them from arena, buy them in the store, or craft them). This isn't rocket science. It would work the same way every other expansion in the history of video games works. Fortunately, it is free.
One day til GvG! Hype!
Hooray! New cards!
Patch from 10-11 PST better be the release. I will look at the decks more closely when I have cards to test them with.
