Goblins vs Gnomes Information & Cards
We've launched a dedicated page for Goblins vs Gnomes which contains information on the expansion and has lists of all the new cards we've seen.
Still a bit puzzled as to how a viable paladin deck could be made with the Scarlet Purifier + Nerubian Egg combo without creating anti-synergy with many typical deathrattle tempo staples such as Piloted Shredder, Harvest Golem, Haunted Creeper, Sludge Belcher, Mad Scientist, Clockwork Gnome, Loot Hoarder, and etc... I'm sure there will be more options for this type of deck as more cards are revealed, though. Can't wait!
<3 Lil' Exorcist
oh boi. these cards are awesome.
I know everyone is flipping their shit over in the Feign Death post - but honestly I'm really happy with what Blizzard is doing here. First off - I'll bet my left nut that each class will get a 'deathrattle' related card, just like i'm sure they'll all get a Ogre related card (just like they are all getting a mech card...and possibly even they'll each get a random 'summon-minion' style spell, though i'm not super convinced about that last one).
Secondly, i'm glad that they're not trying to nerf a particular playstyle (zoo or huntertaker) and are infact giving those playstyles and decks even more tools (and the variety in decks is going to be a good thing. always.) Infact I'm glad they are recognizing certain classes simply have certain strengths - hunter benefits the best from aggressive deathrattle - and Paladin in theory is the solid counter to it (or Priest who now has more agressive options...or mage with more aggression). Shaman is the class that seems to want to benefit the best from a controlled long term deathrattle game. And that's just the deathrattle mechanic - who knows what the future will hold with mech or goblin or gnome or dragon or ogre or bigfoot decks (or new rogue pirate!)
What they are ALSO doing is giving other and even as of yet unknown playstyles tools as well. It'll take a while to gel, yes. Infact we'll probably still see the same ol' templates with a few new cards thrown in for a few months - but this digital format, being closely watched by Blizzard, now with this many new options, is going to reduce the amount of cookie cutter netdecks and favor even greater people who can build their own toolboxes.
Feign death is a great example of this. I guarantee this card will be very powerful...but only for players who understand how to build decks themselves. Netdeckers will play it all wrong (and it can for sure be played wrong) and pretty soon it will no longer be an auto-include. But competent players will find the correct strategies to make this card a win condition (even if it is a 2 mana fuse to light the powder keg).
Looking forward to scarlet, he's good.
He's going to be like Dark Cultist I suspect. Every Non-Deathrattle Paladin will run him. Certainly a direct answer to Deathrattle Hunter.
Wow, these three might be the most influential cards so far.

Not to mention we're currently voting between hunter and warrior epics in addition to the revealed feign death and bouncing blade
I'd love that, but it would mean that 90 of the new expansion cards would be class cards and I just don't know if that's realistic...
Feign Death for president!
So Feign Death is effectively Reincarnate for your entire board? Should those two cards be the same cost? It seems as if Feign Death should be 3 mana minimum.
Maybe the Deathrattle effect disappears after using it?
It does not.
Says who?

Thank you, this was not an information in the original post.
I really like these. When they said they'd rather add new cards than nerf powerful ones, I didn't think that they would take it this literally.
So we can see here what the future holds. Every time we get a new expansion we get cards that are good at stopping the excesses of the previous expansion, aand bring new powerful cards that will be greatly in use, untill the next expansion when we get cards that stop them but also bring new cards that are powerful etc. etc.
This should in theory create a pretty stable game where the new cards are always what you want most, without leading to too much powercreep beyond that expansion.
Damn. Those are all worth playing.
Feign Death is sick. That increases the threat of Undertaker Hunters.
I really like the fact that these new cards will counter the previous expansion meta.
