GvG Card Reveal: Felheart
Update 11/29/2014 - We have confirmation that Felheart is actually named Demonheart. Card text stays the same.
A new Goblins vs Gnomes card popped up on Taiwanese site Gamer.com.tw. We have reached out to Blizzard for confirmation that the card is real and that the name is accurate. You can view a translated version of the card below.
Goblins vs Gnomes Information & Cards
We've launched a dedicated page for Goblins vs Gnomes which contains information on the expansion and has lists of all the new cards we've seen.
Wouldn't surprise me if this was real... Blizz has a habit of dumping mediocre cards on the Warlock class. Why do you think the two viable Warlock archetypes rely so heavily on neutral cards and their one truly good mechanic (their hero power)? Blizzard seems halfheartedly interested in making demon Warlocks viable, but if stuff like Voidcaller and this thing are any indication, they aren't really that committed to the idea, which is, of course, sad. Maybe one day we will get some Outland or Burning Legion themed expansion and it will finally happen... until then, doubtful.
Yeah… the original name was better.
Might be good in Arena. Don't think it makes the cut in constructed.
still no confirmation on this? I mean, i highly doubt that it's not legit (so far hearthpwn hasn't posted a dud) but it's just so uncreative that it seems out of place considering all of the cards we've seen so far. Not that creativity is always a good thing (Gnomish Experimenter i'm looking at you)
My only explaination for this is Blizzard hoping we'll all dust off our Voidcallers and pull out the free doomguard, hit the face for 10 + faceless for 20 combo. Otherwise who knows - Huge buffs that get silenced away are probably the biggest letdown in the game.
Well, it sure follows the tradition of shitty Warlock epics.
I think shamans may want to have a word with you
More like shitty Warlock cards, in general. More than half our class cards are still unusable.
Demon mechs inc.
WTB Fel Reaver.
I'm still waiting for a destruction spec spell.
maybe a demon deck will be viable with the new cards.
"Unconfirmed" is the key word in this post. Hope this card will be a fake because it's too bad for an Epic.
It is not terrible... not great though either. It's an additional piece of removal for the mid-range Lock decks, and could perhaps serve as a finisher ala Blessing of Kings. Again, not great, but not bad.
I really doubt you'd use this as a finisher. Power Overwhelming is way more effective for that.
It is okay in arena. It has a similar value like Blessing of Kings and Blessing of Kings wins games.
But, you need to consider that you need demons for it, thats the downside. The good side is that you can use it as a dmg spell. Demonfire is not good because the 2 dmg does not have a big impact on the field. IT would be different with this card, which should be able to remove a minion in the most cases.
Yay for another crappy Warlock card.
I agree it doesn't look awesome
Will see little play in constructed, but this is a good arena card. Too bad it is epic, you'll rarely see it in arena.
My feeling is rather meh about this card. Bigger Demonfire woopie. Why would I play this when I can for the same mana play a Doomguard or a Sludge Belcher or a Loatheb? Especially when all it takes is 1 silence to get rid of this expensive buff effect.
I guess the dual effect of using it as removal is why it's not cheaper, but I'm not convinced this card will get used for that purpose any more then Demonfire ever was.
Again, meh. =/
It might be useful, if we get to see some new demons that you really want to stay alive for longer.
