Druid
Featured Deck: Our featured deck is a Quest Druid from languagehacker_. The deck features alot of token based cards, so hopefully you can keep pressure on in the early game while still leaving unspent Mana to complete your Quest. From there, synergies with your Choose One cards should help you close out the game.

Saviors of Uldum Cards List & Expansion Guide
Learn more and see all the cards in our dedicated expansion guide.
No you can't test cards out in a live scenario using deck builder, but nice try you turd sandwich.
For anyone trying to have some OTK fun in Wild here's a neat list that could prove pretty solid!
This happens regardless of a few streamers play testing new cards. And it happens in the first few weeks.
So you're mad because you don't get to be surprised by new card mechanics? And other people will know how some of the cards work?
You should have done your homework and stayed far away from any spoilers. That's on you my friend.
Try this new Big Paladin deck! I love ittttt
agreed...The game isn't rocket science. Most of the decks have the same 25 cards you have been playing with for the last 4 months anyway so wtf is the big deal? I can't wait to open my 340 packs tomorrow and make all the best cards gold after the first 10 days when the best decks have been esablished and then make the tier 1 decks solid gold.
You guys act like you couldn't do this anyway with the deckbuilder.
Hearthstone has always released the cards beforehand. Everyone has always done card reveal streams, and card evaluations.
Now they put together and test some decks, and all of the sudden your complaining about it.
Seeing you are on this site so often that this is ruining your enjoyment of the game. Here's a thought, stop coming here.
You literally completely missed the point. Deckbuilder has no influence on how good the card/deck actually is until you test it. The fun of a new expansion (for me anyway) was the first few days where people built everything themselves and its mainly experimental. Now only the streamers get that pleasure, because by the time they are are done, everyone kinda knows what is strong and what isn't. Yes these decks aren't refined (I'm also talking about decks streamers post on YouTube ect) but they are tested enough for people just to copy and paste them and be sure enough they will be strong enough to steam roll anyone who has tried to experiment. I still can't wait to play the expansion, and I do have a few ideas of my own I want to try, but the frustration will come when I'm able to guess the majority of cards in my opponents deck as soon as I see his class at the start of a game.
The first time I saw the shaman quest.. I misread the hero power. For some reason, I thought it said only your next battlecry triggers twice.. which is just kind of ok.
New metas are hard to predict, but this deck seems like it has potential to easily be tier one.. there are so many possible win conditions
My hopes for this expansion:
- Some viable mecha'thun decks
- Boom, Mad Genius nerf to remove rush on all mechs
- Mountain Giant and Sea Giant moved to HoF
I miss difficult to pilot decks, particularly Togwaggle Druid. It was such a unique win condition and required thinking multiple turns ahead and pulling the trigger at the right time. There were times you were switching decks and denying Kings Ransom at like turn 8 or 9. I hope this new expansion encourages something unique like that again.
I agree with everything. But Blizzard won't do it. they could've nerfed drboom and conjurer weeks ago but they didn't.
Wild Mecha'thun Warlock is a Top Tier Deck, i play it myself. It has very high win rate.
You often win the game, while opponent has 15-17 cards in deck.
Bless Thijs's heart for trying to make a murloc paladin. Makes you wonder why you're not just playing shaman.
Btw for your information: Release Times
We know the exact release times! It seems that they’re once again aiming at the simultaneous worldwide release. If we won’t get any delays, every server should get the expansion at the same time!
R.I.P. fun first days of an expansion when everyone is still trying stuff out.
This has become so boring and predictable D-: Not even the release is fun anymore. This is why I'm 110% against people playing the expansion in advance.
You advise me not to play expansion?
I can play a game whenever I want, if everyone is going to play competitively, then I will too.
You can always choose not to follow any of these deck ideas and create something of your own.
There will also be plenty of people who want help with deck ideas to play and can't afford a huge pile of cards to try from the start, so these lists will help those (and players who want to get straight into the action).
Most of these lists look bad anyway, so you probably better use your own decks than this. I mean, quest druid without Overflow + Anubisath Defender ? Quest Paladin ? Yeah I would prefer to try what I have in mind that these deck that won't last more than 1 week.
It wasn't going to be fun anyway, when there is an obvious zoo/aggro deck from hunter/warlock your not going to see many thought provoking decks anyway.
I totally agree with you. It kills so much fun for me that streamers just can play the expansion days earlier. And I know people again will say: But they dont try to solve the meta and you dont need to play this decks. I am sorry but you guys miss the point here. I know this are not the 100% finished new T1 Meta decks. But a lot and I mean really A LOT of players will just copy paste this decks and play them in the first days because this is how people work. And I dont care if now lilke 5 guys say: B-But I will not do this! It doesn't matter because 20 other guys who dont even talk here will just do that. Back then even streamers had to guess which cards are good and which are not and were often so damn wrong. But now they are just like: Yeah trust me I played the deck/card and its strong. I laughed so hard when kripp sayed at first that the new Warlock discover a lackey isn't that good. Now he played the deck and rate it 5 stars.
I kind of agree with what you're saying, the pro's already tested all different decks on stream and you can just copy the results here on Hearthpwn. Many regular players will skip this first step of theorycrafting and just play these decks instead, which means you will face a lot more of the same decks the first day. Many people are not good in crafting their own decks and want to to pay straight away, so the choose the convenient Hearthpwn way.
Or you can choose the side of the Homebrew Deck Resistance!
